Fort and Bright have similar face structure.. handsome men with bad boy undertone.. that's deadly combo
Not seen anything of Bright till now. I do love Fort's smile though.

I couldn't figure out earlier what I find so unique about Prapai's face - it's his Frida Kahlo like eyebrows ❀️ And he wore a black suit for the first time today. His usual suits are in unconventional colours. So this is a sign that he is now changing the course of his unconventional lifestyle and settling down?

Fort isn't really a strong actor but somehow he is really selling his player turned true lover portrayal to me. But Peat is not really selling his vulnerability and disillusionment to me. That diary reading scene was ruined by his unconvincing crying. And maybe it's just me but Fort and Peat don't look visually compatible to me. It was especially obvious in the last scene when Phayu-Rain looked like a settled couple but Pai-Sky seemed like they were trying hard to look like one.

That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy this episode but now I know my enjoyment is coming only from Prapai, not from Sky.

I spotted a tongue! That was way more physical intimacy than most het kdramas.
Yes, they will never reach the Thai level and that's fine. Korean dramas have their own aesthetics and I love that.

Heh! That's true πŸ˜„

The kiss was really good but we needed some earlier too. These are 2 hot men in their twenties living together! And they give each other only pecks? πŸ™„
On Roommates of Poongduck 304 Nov 3, 2022
I really enjoyed this one from the beginning to the end. The last episode was the only one where I felt a drag. That could be because we got angst before we got any real romance. And then we didn't get much romance after the angst either.

The kiss at the end was FINE but I would have liked to see some physical intimacy earlier considering the fact that they lived together. That's always been my problem with Korean BLs - they do emotional intimacy really well and the actors usually have good chemistry too but there is almost never a good pay off in terms of physical intimacy. I guess I should be happy that at least the kisses are getting better.

This one complaint aside I really enjoyed this rom com. Good to see the actors redeeming themselves from the underwhelming mess that was Kissable Lips. I am particularly impressed by Kim Ji Woong - he combined the spoilt brat, goofy tenant, smartass boss, a man in love, and then a man in pain really well. Hope to see more of him in Kdramas.

It seems he was really injured as he had a wound on his stomach, but yes it is unlikely for anyone to have that kind of damage from a slow basketball πŸ˜„

Title Ai Long Nhai Spoiler
The subtitles are still wonky but understandable enough to keep my heart fluttering during the confession and love making scene πŸ₯° And the shower afterwards was so natural - not erotic but not quite buddies-buddies either. What I really like about this couple is that they talk/interact like two boys and not like the typical seme-uke of most BLs. Even though Ai is more experienced sexually, Nhai is no shrinking violet and is into it as much as him. And afterwards they go back to being boys who enjoy each other's company.

But seriously Nhai, you brat! Not even a 'thank you' to Ai for taking care of you the whole night? πŸ™„ Just the toothpaste and the tie isn't enough. When are you going to make Ai feel cherished like he does for you? Gotta say, Ai's fathers have brought him up really well - that advice about not trying to change your beloved's daily life was 🀌🏻

It's funny how Jida's 3 musketeers follow her around and encourage her to hit on Ai. Like, none of the 3 have a crush on her but still walk behind her like devoted puppies πŸ˜† Good to see that she took the rejection so gracefully and has now become a shipper. If you can't beat them, join them πŸ˜„

What was that random meeting of Song and In in the bar? Song planned it with Jida? And In fell for him at first sight? Seriously, he fell for this uncle with the fashion sense straight out of the 70s, but not any of his gorgeous friends? I get the feeling that the makers are planning more shows around Nhai's friends, so are showing glimpses of everyone's love interest (Ton last episode, In this episode) to carry on to the next show in the series. Me not complaining if that's the case!

Let's have some more of the cute domesticity before the angst arrives. I really want to see Nhai bring more to this relationship now that he has made it official.

Totally agree. I really like the delicate but fiesty Pai and if Charles can be his partner that would be great!

For me Prince lost a lot of points in this episode. Gear is emerging as the nicest, most dateable character in…
Prince has actually been annoying me since the last episode. I wrote here after watching the last one that Prince gives attitude to Gear but is so soft with Sher. If he doesn't like Gear, he should come clean instead of stringing him along.

I think Ping and Tap doing their best. No complaints at all. They are the one pair I'm sure will find their way to one another and actually stay together. I don't think the other 2 couples will last even if they get together by the end.

After a couple of filler episodes we are getting back to the messiness that I started watching this show for. Heartbreaks everywhere today! That preview showing both fuckboys going back to their real selves has made me excited for this show again.

The only thing I'm pissed about is the way Prince treats Gear. Fahlan and Gear aren't really wrong if they feel insecure, the way Sher and Prince are with each other is completely different from how they are with everyone else, including their boyfriends.

Didn't get why Prince was crying so hard. Coz he realises that he has strong feelings for Gear? Or for Sher? BTW, the neckline of his blue shirt was.....interesting.

And how pretty is Namwan! Tap should know by now that if he doesn't want a girl as lovely as her, even when she is throwing herself at him, then he is definitely not into girls. Ping putting distance between them at this point may well be the perfect timing.

Title My Only 12%
I started watching this show from episode 8 this week coz I was waiting for the angst part to be over. I am glad I did coz I love angst in small doses but too much of it puts me off.

Loved the bond between the two boys and how Eiw grew as a person in Cake's absence. It's something he wouldn't have done if Cake hadn't left and he really needed that growth away from Cake's shadow. So he has a more rounded personality now that Cake is back. Cake noticed that immediately and was a bit shaken by it too, but glad he used that insecurity to come clean about his feelings rather than sulking over not being Eiw's whole universe anymore.

I am loving their lovey-dovey moments (the English part! πŸ₯΅). The progression into intimacy seemed so sudden yet so natural. It's like they were hesitant to start but once they did, there was no going back. Earth has always been a good actor but this is my first time watching Santa - can't believe he is only 18! He has a man's eyes, not a teenager's. And he is such a watchable actor (despite the crime against humanity they have done to his hair since his return from the US).

More angst coming up next week but I am confident of a happy ending so here for it 😊
