Jung Hyun is a manipulative bastard but he is also head over heels in love with Jung Woo. He needed to be told that his possessive love is harming Jung Woo and once he got that, he really tried to help him get published by offering a combo to Literature Square. I didn't really get Jung Woo's outburst in the Professor's office. Is he angry that Jung Hyun went back to Literature Square to get him published even though he hates the company? Or did he get the wrong information?
Jung Woo is hard to read. Does he still love Jung Hyun or has the love waned and he only sees him as a protector now? Tae Young's frank and sincere confession seems to have got through to him, though we don't know if the feelings are reciprocated. The preview shows that Jung Hyun can feel his grip on Jung Woo loosening. I really want to see his insecurity and regret that he let Jung Woo stagnate for too long.
This show is dry and not at all heart fluttering. But I find myself looking forward to it the most among all the on air shows I'm watching. Now I just want a little less of the publishing industry shenanigans and more of relationship push and pull between the three leads.
Watching Nhai put the evil witch in her place made me feel like a proud mother 😇 And he also took the food packet with him after telling her to keep it 🤣 Trust the brat to eat all the food alone before reporting to Ai about his 'disastrous mom' 😂
Don't think I will ever tire of Ai looking flabbergasted at Nhai's loony logic and Nhai looking proud of himself as he utters those pearls of wisdom 😹 This brat's idea of a romantic gift is a loyalty card whose benefits can be withdrawn at any time!
I'm convinced the makers have planned more series for the other boys in the group. For now it's 'meet the parents' time and Jaonan looks every bit the judgey mother-in-law. Look forward to Ai's parents' reaction to this loony toon he has brought home 😄
This show has too many side couples who are bloating up the show. UWMA was 75% DeanPharm, 20% KornIn and 5% WinTeam. Between Us is 40% WinTeam and 60% others.
I have no interest in watching a 70 minute episode with ABC and Prince, Wan and Tul, Manaow and Phruk et all taking up majority of the screentime. Don't mind DeanPharm as they are part of the story and we are getting new scenes for them. This show would be so much better with 45 minute episodes that focused on WinTeam with a few side snippets of DeanPharm.
Sherbet threw a shoe at Fahlan in a club full of people, and of course Fahlan had to run after him pledging undying love. And just like that they got together again and walked into the sunset. This relationship has as much chance of surviving as a ice cube in hell 😒
Tap and Ping went from friends who obsessed over Fahlan's love life to boyfriends who obsessed over Fahlan's love life. While he gave a rat's ass about them being together or not.
My sweet catty Pai and his nice girl friend didn't get any screentime in the final episode. And there was no resolution for Pink and the guy who likes her either. Instead we got a blond wearing a red outfit and sunglasses indoors. I fast forwarded that part so no idea if he was blind. Don't want to know either.
The only good part of this final was the 2-minute NC scene of Gear and Prince. The kisses were sweet and thankfully Prince didn't look disgusted as I feared, in fact he looked as much into it as Gear. If the makers were capable of shooting a graceful NC scene like this one, then why were the main leads' NC and kissing scenes so tacky? 🙄
Anyway, I am glad it's over. Lesson for me to drop a show that is clearly going downhill even if some of the actors are super cute. I hope to see the actors playing Gear, Fahlan, and Prince (in that order) in better shows in the future.
Thi is so extra! 😆 And so is Noey's Mom. I hope they don't have many scenes together as there is only so much chaos and talking over each other I can take 😐
Noey and his sister are both such gangsters though 😄 So Thi has started with a crush on the sister and is going to end up falling for the brother 😅 Can't blame him though, Noey is all sweet and spice. The scenes without him seem like fillers. Thi and Noey both felt a hint of awareness today. Look forward to seeing it grow between them ❤
That was such a.......Kdrama! This is KBLs finally being made like regular Kdramas. The Editor of Literature Square is a regular Kdrama support actor too.
It is interesting that we were shown right at the beginning that Jung Hyun and Jung Woo are lovers. In fact they became lovers the day Jung Woo lost everything. It almost like the predator saw weakness and swooped in. I can see why Leo took up Jung Hyun's role even though it is likely that he will lose Jung Woo in the end. It's a complex character. Though it seems like he really loves and protects Jung Woo, he is also an emotional gaslighter who wants Jung Woo to always live in his shadow. There is a ton of ego there and also envy of Jung Woo being a superior writer. He wants Jung Woo to do well but on his terms.
Tae Young, in contrast to the two morose writers, is a ray of sunshine. That smile! He has been infatuated with Jung Woo for a long time and I feel Jung Hyun will notice that before Jung Woo does.
The only thing that is not working for me in this show is Karam as Jung Woo. He seems too colorless to be the object of desire/obsession of two charismatic men. But it's a small quibble.
I look forward to how these three navigate this complex set up. This isn't a rom com and it won't be heart fluttering. But it's about time we got some heart breaking and mature BLs too.
Though Jaonan was berating him was also consoling him at the same time by patting Ai's head, showing that he had…
The lie the fathers told Ai was pretty big too. The way Ai reacted was quite natural. And they didn't explain anything to him when he asked either. I can understand Jaonan's reaction the first time but not when they found him all traumatized and apologetic.
I can't thank the show makers enough for not putting high schooler Ai in those ugly uniform shorts.
I could do without the over the top acting of Ai's mother and her husband. I'm sorry but Jaonan is a bitch too for berating a kid who is on his knees asking for forgiveness. That flashback took too long! Will be happy to not see any of Ai's parents for the rest of the show, but of course that won't happen.
Gosh, Ai and Nhai are so adorable together ❤️ I missed their wholesomeness all through the tasteless flashback. Hope Nhai shows the sassiness he shows Ai to his mother too in the next episode. Who does she think she is to command Nhai to break up with Ai? 😡 And the sister needs to understand that she can have a relationship with her brother only if she stops trying to reconcile the mother and son.
Hope Episode 9 was what Episode 11 is in most BLs. Let there only be fluff from now on 🥹
This was so cute! I adore Noey and everything about him 😎 The tough guy is such a romantic at heart even though his friends keep goading him to go down the toxic masculinity path. Am not much taken with Thi as of now, hope he calms down soon. But even if he doesn't, I know I will keep coming back for Noey 🥰
I love Nhai's Dad! He is such a sweetheart 🤗 The fathers in this show are so wholesome! But why are the Moms either missing or bitchy? Singh's Mom and Ai's Mom? That nasty face Ai's Mom made was so over the top and seemed completely out of place in this fluffy universe.
Thank goodness the girls are better. Jida seems like a real sweetie and Ai's sister genuinely wants to be close to him. Nhai being Nhai threw a tantrum without asking for an explanation and Ai being Ai ran after him to placate him despite doing nothing wrong. Ai is spoiling an already spoiled brat. I hope to see Nhai proving himself worthy of this devotion soon.
I am convinced that the makers have planned more series around Nhai's friends and we are getting glimpses of their respective love stories in this one. Seems like Intha's romance will happen 6 years down the line, while Nine's is starting now, and Ton seems unaware of Chon's interest at present.
ummm... being turned on does not make you any less capable of consent. this is not like being drunk or high, so…
I am not saying Team was drunk or high, my problem is Win asking for consent from a guy who already has a hard on. What were the chances of Team saying no? Imagine if instead of Win, it had been a random guy who saw the condition Team was in and offered to help him deal with it in his room.
