I hear ya, rating is such a personal thing and yes, we all had gone through the time when we watched to the end even things we really did not like only to learn to drop in the first few episodes instead of torturing self and wasting time, right?😁 and like you I am prone to watching just things I could enjoy rather than everything that comes out, so I hardly ever drop below 6 (mostly lured in by the actor, director or original creator/screenwriter) but even with that in mind some things end up without rating or (if I already started rating and then wanted to omit it completely) with 1/10. I like seeing posts by certain people - if their taste is similar to mine, just to share good news or early warnings and if our tastes differ - to be inspired and stretch the comfort zone a bit. Would be nice to see your comments. Right now I am searching for the list of any femboi dramas. Any leads are appreciated.

I love the music! Just like Embrace in the Dark Night this one does not skip on visuals and auditory value. Although this is not exactly Discovery of Witches, I will take it as it is a novel idea for c-drama in general. I wish Chinese screenwriters had more exposure to the middle eastern folklore and norman/viking sagas traditions. Even slavic legends would give them something to create an awesome mind-blowing dramas! And yes, the actors are really working well here. Any writers there contact me privately, I can give you ideas that will make you rich and famous.
silly and nothing to hang your hat on, but I am on ep 10 and keep going... maybe because regardless of mysogynistic ideas loudly pronounced by most males it is produced in the way that we are never into the "historical" concept merely entertained by this costume comedy. And let's face it: they delivered the best and the freshest reason/excuse to kiss a girl (ep 10) in a long while. You just have to see it!

When Yeo,Ri "brought" him to the village (actually first time he followed her) it spelled disaster and so he is not the fun guy as he sometimes appears to be as black imugi. He had been in ascetic cultivation for 1000 years on the brink of ascending to heaven, so if anything else he is pissed as hell and not benevolent to do things for others (particularly humans). She hates him as well - originally because he "disregards all laws of heaven and earth" as she said in ep 1 and after he possesses the body of Gap she dislikes him even more, but realizes she needs him to bring her friend back. So it is a collaborative effort. At least that is what I got.
can someone enlighten me as to why would a serpent agree to sacrifice the pearl inside himself (which I presume is his essence of being supreme being) if his overall goal (for which he has pursued FL for over a decade!) is to return to his original form for which - again presumably - he will need said pearl. I have not yet seen spark of love between the serpent and FL and he is already agreeing? what am I missing?
