Fl is forced to marry emperor under the threat to her family. She loves the prince ML but has to put on the show for which ML hates her. He has a bimbo lover (his own father's concubine) and that lover (after the emperor dies and prince takes the throne) wants to take over not only harem but the prince. Bimbo swaps bodies with the FL (knowing that prince still loves the FL even though he acts hatefully toward her) and the ML is now stuck with the woman who loves him in the body of a plaything and the hateful bimbo in the body of the woman that prince ML loves/hates. Fortunately, early on he figures out the swap based on changed personalities of the two women and the fun begins.

The actors playing younger versions of the two opposing adult males and their woman were picked flawlessly!!! The resemblance is great.

you are so right about her acting abilities! I loved her ML Wang Ze Xuan in The Girl Inside Me for that reason alone (he can play a puny fool in love, a psycho transvestite, self-centered prince-you name it) and I hope she will get more variety or challenging roles, which will allow her to show her amazing skills. Like a ruthless "killer" or equally cold schemer and manipulator, or deranged person. or kickass assassin! I bet her rendition of Princes Zhao Yu in Heart of Loyalty was the precursor to Princess Yang Ying in Journey to Love!
Other than that, I think that she is probably the only Chinese actress that is not only not afraid of her curves but being very comfortable looking (what a recent conversation here revealed) "chubby" in the eyes of Chinese viewers. I think she looks amazing and healthy.
