Each unto their own. I think she actually nails every single role of hers and translates what is needed onscreen. I have not watched the other show but I loved her in Storm Eye and Novoland Pearl Eclipse and she is great here. Here character requires that she not show too many emotions

I have started suspecting Romg Rong for sometime- something is not right about her

This guy is so talented. He does so well in all his roles . He was such an amazing villain in Lighter and Princess - kept up with the pace of the story and made it even more engaging and powerful to watch!

This is too disturbing for me to watch . Unhealthy obsession and stalking cannot be translated into a healthy relationship. I don’t care how hot the kisses are but this drama sends a very bad message. Dropped at 12 episodes

We can definitely agree on Xi Wei being one of our favorite characters 😀

Givne Xi Wei’s. Circumstances he turned out a lot better than expected. He was loyal to the emperor and cared about the FL EVEN THOUGH SHE treated him badly. he cared about the people . He had principles and was upright. In comparison the FL WAS self centered, controlling, arrogant and a borderline sociopath . They were both flawed but Xi Wei was a better person

And I don’t think a Xi Wei was toxic either . He was just a tortured souls who had lost too much including his identity. And the FL in SOKP was not a saint . Those two were truly made for each other but she was wishy washy till the end

Yes they were a unique couple and a lot more than love held them together.

Yep you nailed it! Li. Un’s vulnerability and Zhu Un’s steadfast love and devotion! Loved this couple and. Yes we all shed tears from them! This drama is still my all time favorite and can’t get over it!

No romance and I am glad there was none. The plot did not require it

This drama deserves a higher rating- the i true and mystery is well done. It’s a 9 for me. I am glad the romance was not the focus here . That would have messed things up. Very satisfying story which kept me engaged to the end. The law prevailed in the end ! Haven’t seen a good murder mystery of late and this one made up for me. I binged the whole thing in 2 days!
