Well they were both crazy and dark in their own way. Very different characters yes- but both were dark. And the FLs were not very likable in both dramas as well for different reasons. But both were about self preservation

I came back here tp see what is going on. What is the deal with so much hate? Is this a drama forum or a ranting forum? I enjoyed this drama thoroughly from beginning to end- it was a great romantic comedy. It’s just sad to see what people are doing here taking away from an enjoyable discussion about the drama itself. There seems to be no respect here. It is all just leaving a bad taste all this mud slinging.

Definitely unique characters and very intense stories . And the actors understand and portray the roles very well

Yes it was a very intense relationship between them. It was very strong too but she was completely blind to him even though those feelings were palpable or like I said in denial

He was not exactly violent - it was more extreme frustration. But their relationship dynamic was very interesting. I think the FL was very frustrating. Her obsession with Zhang Zhe was frustrating. She slept with the ML but did not want to commit. Anyone else would have run as far as possible from her. She had a huge red flag waving I would say LOL

Yeah in the previous timeline she brought her death on herself with all the evil things she did but somehow ended up blaming him and was scared of him. She really was very self righteous too when she always assumed that he was going to rebel and commit treason against the emperor. The FL is an extremely flawed biased person

Just my thoughts

She was very wishy washy from the beginning to the end. He never felt anything from her because she was always in denial where he was concerned and hid her true feelings. His worst fear was that she would leave him and run away. Plus she was using him to the maximum . She was a very ambiguous person and very difficult and manipulative. Comparatively he was less complex than her. She never cherished him the way her cherished her
