Ratings on public website don't determine a drama's success, you think the producers of the show would be as dumb and superficial as you are? Being ranked no.1 web drama and no 2 on state televsion for successive weeks is the measure that matters. Like voting with your wallet, you can mouth off however you like, in the end, if you watch the drama or buy the product, you vote with your wallet. Just as you're still here weeks after your rather juvenile ranting. I personally bought 3 months of WeTV vip just to watch SSS so I voted with my wallet.
And both XFN and JN are supposed to be around 20 y.o going by the novel. If anything, ZRY is the one miscast(according to your logic regarding age), not Teresa Li.
Besides, the low ratings reflect rather poorly choreographed fighting scenes(despite marketing it as a Wuxia) and a slow start which I agree with. Anyway, the viewership numbers don't lie and they have a solid base to start the season 2 with, at this point if you're still mad, either quit or continue screaming into the abyss. Your choice really.
yeah well tough luck, she's the main lead and season 1 ranked top 1 web drama for 3 weeks and top 2 on cctv so despite toxicity on douban you couldn't stop it from being a success. Better luck next time
???Good???I am finding another great drama just like The Untamed,Tell me if they relate???
Yes if you like a drama focused on companionship, family, character growth, intelligently written plotline, this is a must watch. A story is good when you find yourself rooting for even the most minor side characters, and this is one such story. Also female characters aren't just reduced to some pretty damsels in distress waiting for a white knight's rescue, in fact this drama has one of the strongest female line up (both in terms of personality, acting and martial prowess) so if you like strong female characters, this is also a must watch.
First few episodes might be slow but persist through it and you'll find a master piece.
SSS cast appeared in one of CCTV's hour long variety program last week. If a Chinese spraker could dig up an online link where I can eatch it, I'll be very thankful.
XFN need some training in fight choreography. Why he always crouch when he try to fight. Looks weird. Come on…
He is currently more like a mage using swords to cast spells than a fighter.
He's trying to leap frog his understanding of martial arts using brain power alone rather than physical prowess as he started late and never had a good foundation.
Truly wish Qing Niao to be the female lead, or even Nangong Pu She.
Yeah Jiang Ni is cute but she's being overshadowed by very strong female characters in Qing Niao and Nangong Pushe. It's the same in JoL, the FL is being overshadowed by other female characters.

Watch this, then watch Joy of Life.

"Zhong Rou Yun owes us TWO 2nd seasons".
So true.
I'm using google translate and I'm not good at navigating Weibo, would really appreciate it if someone could have a look.
