Agree on the India, Asia, Africa diets. Aalso Mediterranean is great for vegans. Those, nix the meat or poultry, heavy on spices are my usual. Besides the tuna and peannt butter being my twice a day snacks, I didn't want to list the meals. My youngest daughter is also vegan.

Anyone else have a past relationship with someone like the Covert narcissist Ye Yi Bo (Hai Tang's father)? The Cheng writers (bro & sis) definitely knows someone to have written his character to represent the most vile typical narcissist. I could barely get through his scenes. He brought ALL the bad memories up from 7 years ago.

I'm on the start of Ep 9, Zhou Yi Ran and Wang Ying Lu have been exceptional with the raw emotions. One could turn off the sound and still feel them in their bones. As for their acting, these two have surpassed every other current actor in terms of being uninhibited. It takes much more than a crying scene to be believable, and their deliverance was intense. I've never felt as if an actor really was the character being portrayed until now. Usually, I can't get past (the) actor is playing the character while watching a drama no matter how well they're playing the role. I hope they take all of the Chinese awards in their country's Feitian Awards, Golden Eagle Awards, and Magnolia Awards. The director really pulled it out of both of them, but they have to have the talent to do so.

And with that, for them individually, could you list their top 2 or 3 dramas that represent their acting ability like Twelve Letters did?

Ironic, I'm semi-vegetarian. Occasionally I'll eat a turkey burger after I've practically burned it. I don't like the smell while meat is cooking. Eww, and I rarely eat eggs. Tuna and peanut butter are my go-to. I did get better jobs after doing several hard manual labor jobs that any idgit would know immediately they weren't career inducing. I did a lot in my youth (up to mid 40s) just for the experience. Ask your vegan friends how they get their protein.

You seem to be a mature viewer who has plenty of life experience behind you. I'm on the fringe of being an elder, and I'm finding the drama to show realistic relationships.

The love triangle hasn't been the whole personality for the girls. At the beginning, I think it's there to show how loyal women friends should be to each other, ONLY. Not ditching one's so called bestie for a man. My favorite scenes are between the two of them, and both interacting with Yeong Rye's mother, sister, and 2 brothers. Later on, as we're waiting for Ep 7, I still think the focus will be more on the girls relationship as besties, even though the guys are playing a huge part too.

I wish I hadn't started this until it was finished. The wait is taking the edge off of the drama in a way I can't describe. Lessens it, maybe.

Makes me wnder if they have EVER been in real relationships with a bestie or someone they liked. Viewing the drama from the perspective of a person close to elder age, it seems realistic. Emotions and relationships will never be cut & dry and I that's what some viewers expect, I guess 🤷🏽‍♂️But that makes for boring/dropped dramas.

It was also his father's wish for him to study, study, study, eventualy going to college, and pursuing a viable career, and not to waste time boxing. Family wishes takes precedent over 'trivial' pursuits from what I understand about SK.

OMGC was a hard watch. Necessary though for public awareness. I kept thinking about the 16 yo who died cleaning a chicken de-skinning machine that happened a year before in my state. Having worked in a chicken plant when I was 23 and knowing the conditions, it sure hit home.

Think of all the shows which could've been if not for the freedom of speech censorship in countries such as DPRK or Russia. Disney+ learned their lesson the hard way, by a large number of viewers dropping their subscriptions and it lowered their stock market numbers. Then to compensate they rose the prices considerably. My son has had back pain from the time he was 10 and did a stupid thing with a truck tailgate & it came down on his back all of a sudden. At 35 it rears once in a while if he's stubborn. Yep, they sure are silly.
