apparently she had to loose 10kg for this role. God knows why. She looked at lot better before
Where did you read that? Yes, she did. I thought, no that can't possibly be her. No. Well h*** it is her. WTH did she do! She looked younger then too even though it was just 2 years ago. Extreme weight loss can make you look older than you should look. I haven't watched Genie and read an article about her fans being startled with the weight loss in the drama.
I'll go one step further and say men don't like bony women. No collar bones protruding, elbows that can put an eye out, or legs that look like flamingos. Def not one's scapulas showing through one's clothing, or the spinal bones when they bend over. Low BMI is unattractive. Elagance doesn't last.
How do you know you've def fallen into the elder catagory? When you're concerned about how thin an actress has gotten in 2 short years. It's especially concerning when the camera usually adds 15-20 pounds onto someone's frame. Actresses knowing that fact sometimes takes it too far. She's as thin as I am and I'm neither young nor healthy. When I see my middle daughter looking this thin it scares me.
You're trying to reason with mentally ill bandwagonist otakus who are not able to think critically. They will…
"but I am absolutely not affected with the negative comments". Oh but you are, as suggested by the numerous comments before this one and after. You've spent a great deal of time being affected under this article.
"I was baffled, when the netizen became obsessed with attacking me, instead of focusing on the topic/article." No, you weren't. You absolutely made it a point to comment at every turn to keep it focused on you and not on the article. It's quite easy to see the psychology of someone from reading countless comments under one short article. You're giving an Overt Narcissistic vibe, and they thrive on attention whether it's good OR bad, as long as it IS attention. Please block me. There is a limit and to add you would entail unblocking someone else.
Dispatch🤣🤣🤣a tabloid hell bent on destroying lives. Making sure from the cradle to the grave not a single stone is unturned and focuses on reminding everyone that anything one does will never be attoned for by way of public opinion. Not a peep of impropriety in a 21 year long career, yet here is the reminder that one's past is subject to judgement. Brought to MDL by the highly esteemed Lily Alice and/or lo_ve for our pleasure into the sordid world where their wee hearts thrive. Bad attention is better than no attention, right?
Was someone else the initial target in the 2nd installment of Signal, and Jo Jin Woong the collateral damage, in the quest to destroy the object of long term revenge, or of envy? Jo Jin Woong's past wasn't brought to light before or during the original Signal, nor after. Who would want to see The Second Signal derailed? Could it be a new obsession that wasn't there for the original? What other drama or movies has the perpetrator had their hand in to sway public opinion? And YES, this was done strictly to sway public opinion.
I learned at a young age there are 3 sides to every story: This side, That side, and What's in the middle. But you best believe when someone brings forth something that hasn't been made public from the time of a person being a juvenile, it's nothing short of a smear campaign.
I think viewers/users have tired of rating dramas a 10 when they've been seeing the same mediocre stuff over and over. If they'd not given such high ratings all along then it would've forced the writers, directors, etc to provide more quality dramas. There's still comments under this profile that say "I'm rating it 10/10 despite some of its flaws". A 10 means a drama is perfect in every aspect and that there are NO faults. But here we are.
It was a little too idealistic, and bc of that I felt nothing during the emotional scenes. The story was good. The writing was great. It was just too unrealistic 'looking through rose colored glasses' idealistic.
Not a drama I would say I enjoyed watching but definitely one that accurately portrayed a sexual assault case…
As a survivor of sexual assault, yes, I'm sure it could be triggering, however from another viewpoint one could view the drama as a survivor getting justice by proxy when they couldn't irl. I haven't watched yet, and I'm basing my hope on the spoiler comment above yours.
I think MDL should implement a policy that NO news articles related to the DEATH of an actor/actress are listed under the profile of the deceased. It's disrespectful.

I hope she gains the weight back.
