I have back pain myself, and I know what hell is like.
So have I since I was 15 yrs old by refusing help from anyone over the yrs regardless of how much I needed the extra help. Stubborn begets a bad back. On a good day I can practically stand not hunched over without a back back.
I'm glad I never subscribed to Disney+. I pretend those dramas or movies don't exist. Keeping my integrity is way more valuable than a drama or movie from any country.
I really hope that Korea will reconsider doing business with Disney. I am already boycotting Disney and its affiliates…
Still, even after Tuesday Sept 23. IF ROK wants to support freedom of speech, they should. Disclaimer: This will be only the second comment I make regarding the USA's Constitution which upholds democracy.
What is Jung I Sin nibbling from the attic in the bathroom in Ep 3? Yes, I'm being lazy, not wanting to scroll way down to find out if it's mentioned or not.
I kept thinking of my nephew while watching. He played soccer during middle school and halfway through one game he broke his arm and continued to finish since he was one of the best on his team.
It's a bit extreme to replace the guy because of a DUI? I'm not saying it's not serious but not enough to ruin…
It's hypocritical for an actor to be deleted and replaced when the majority of SK dramas have heavy drinking scenes, they're known for their excessive drinking, and I'm sure people have read the news of the afterwork-still-working get-togethers where one is expected to attend and drink. Could he possibly have wanted to get out of filming this project, bc you'd think during one would be totally on their best behavior.
There are several Users in the comments who have inserted spoilers. Please remember that ANY NARRATIVE OR SCENES any other users has not seen will be a Spoiler. This one-up or I know something you don;t know attitude from some users must stop. It's rather selfish.
Have to agree. I thought it was great in the beginning, have watched a few more eps, honestly...how you can spin…
I have no need after having had personal relationships with 4 or 5 overt and covert narcissists. Yes, it took me a lifetime to realize I was a draw for them and the cycle was repeated from childhiood.
Hello dear Lucy, honestly, I can't remember the details of 'boys don't cry to that extent anymore, I only saw the…
No, No, No. After Ep 8 one would question why these two remained friends and in each other's lives at all if it were real life. It was a forced toxic narrative on the viewers. At Ep 10 the writer took a turn and the focus was on their employment as producers for films, the Kim Sang Hak tussel, and Sang Yeon's one upmanship of Eun Jung concerning, well, everything. Plot holes were so evident it felt like someone had actually cut sections of the script with a pair of scissors, i.e. Sang Yeon's wealth, for one.
The relationship was more toxic this latter half. I would've loved to hear your thoughts on the ludicrous insert of the assisted suicide of Sang Yeon in Switzerland though. The whole narrative surrounding it felt like an Assisted Suicide or Self Euthanasia tourist commercial aimed at the Korean citizens who might want the option if they've the funds for it based on the statistic that the ROK is #1 in suicide deaths. In a way it felt like a 'Why wait. Now you too can accomplish the same goal.' vibe.
Explanations were given for each step of the procedure from the time someone lands in Switzerland to the time the death was pronounced, and it ended on this note. Eps 14 and 15 were devoted to this, and all the other characters were gone as if they didn't exist. It was one of those dramas that didn't bring peace into my life. It was despair only.
Why did I finish? So I could tell you that you made the right choice for the right reasons to drop this drama, and bc I wanted to see just how badly it would continue to be, especially for the lenght that it was given. It's going in one of my list as one of the worst.
