The pocket watch comes a full circle…finished this and I also came to like the final arc. It’s brilliant how this director navigate the story across time and how this script was play out smoothly.

And at ep 30, I am actually quite surprise of Yan Jun’s wise words to XiNing, he shared his genuine observation on Xiang BeiChuan and XiNing’s relationship and personality.

Finally finishing the last two ep. Really like sister JiuLing’s speech to XiNing about her views on relationship in ep 29, “…love is about experiencing and resilience…” 🤩

The story travels across time, so yes you are right, the first story arc on Cheng Ao and Li ShiYun is over. The next arc is about her niece, YiYi played by Tong Yao.

Cheng Lei and Jelly Lin just feels like the embodiment of Cheng Ao and Li Shi Yun…

In the third arc, the ML is actually very tolerant and kind, a gentleman and not selfish. It’s the FL’s character that is a little unlikable.

She has this idealistic, dramatic, impulsive and spoilt brat kind of feel, but she is rather naive and would do anything for her love or things she loves.

So true…in order to sell cheap, it’s about mass production using cheaper fabric and materials…compensating on the workmanship and authenticity of the fashion…😓.
