I think that’s the struggle of screen play adaptation, to balance between getting such approved by censorship board so we get to see them and yet staying true to original script. I totally feel you that how we wish this production theam can give us more extra scenes for their epilogue life. I didn’t read the novel, but I was informed by novel readers that there were a couple of epilogue chapters…then I also wonder even if they show us, we will never feel enough as wet enjoyed this CP so much😅.

I know what you mean. I feel that WuZhen doesn’t really know her own heart and she is just acting impulsively which she always do, thinking and making choices for Mei ZhuYu…not mature to handle the relationship difficulties.
Her turning to Wu ZiShu was just convenient as they are both demons and she probably thought it make sense to be with another demon🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️.
