Ep 14, Mr Liu as an assassin is a little careless, wears fragrance and such bright and unforgettable eyes that is easily to spot😅. So most of us are right, that it’s obvious he has some feelings for FL.

As audience, we will know ML has been framed by FL’s Godfather. But FL didnt know and she probably doesn’t know the undercurrent political issues thats happening. She will blame ML and herself because she will feel that due to her marriage, those people who wanted to harm ML, ended up harming her father, and that’s the fact too.

Its not personal and I don’t blame women in general. It’s what was written in this story and the lesson taught by the female teacher to ML earlier. It’s the writer’s take on this FL for this story.

This ML is a fast, smooth operator, immediately knowing FL has feelings for him and jealous, he quickly proceed to kissing her, if he wasn’t injured, he would have done more🤣.

I actually thought they will show us a scene where her maid saw her without nose, scaring them and then she put on her gold mask.
Wei Liang is too nice, he should at least cut bigger, the gold mask is so tiny and just seems like he cut the tip and not the nose. lol!

Yup, as ML’s lady teacher told him before, woman is trouble. He almost got himself exposed today because of helping FL..,🤦🏻‍♀️. Some may say luckily his teacher came on time.

And both couples were disturbed at the most crucial phase…😅.

Agreed with your thoughts. I do think c drama still tends to struggle to find a balance between the comedic moments and the intense moments. If the pacing is done inaccurately, it will give audience a disconnected feel to the characters which is what I see here at times.

She is the bodyguard appointed by ML to protect FL. ML likes to do this things without bothering to explain😅.

I like to see them both separately now after so many ep. The novel’s ML feels more like a wolf, whereas the drama version is more like a puppy.;) This drama only uses the set up, characters and events, however there has been changes in the characterization which make sense for the drama and needed to pass censorship.
I am enjoying it as it is, but had wish it didn’t need to spend so many ep emphasizing on ML’s pettiness and jealousy, feels repetitive and still waiting for the plot to get on with it😅.

I also guess the third masked man is the butler and he works for the Emperor but under covering in PJ’s mansion and secretly protecting ZH’s plan.

This point exactly, given how PingJing’s paranoid and lack of trust, he is really too trusting about ZH.

She realise how handsome ML is and how he fulfilled all her criteria of an ideal man to marry to🤣. She is starting to fall head over heels for him.

I was wondering what’s her hesitation of telling who she is too.

We should start having a count of how many scenes where FL fell off and was caught by ML and how many times, she was rescued again and again🤣😅.

For those coming here, do note, this is a typical Rom-Com plot, so the main plot line builds around the main lead romance. It has lots of classic, typical cliches of ML saving FL countless times, although FL seems like a damsel in distress and has a little spoilt brat side, she is very witty and smart, and knew how to find her own rights and choice to situation. Of course there will be lots of small misunderstandings here and there but I believe it will be resolved quickly as ML is very smooth in operating his ways;). Coming to mid way of the drama soon, I believe there will be a climatic crisis between leads, let’s embrace and enjoy this fun.

Dont think that’s part of this story plot.😅
