But this FL’s character is definitely much more matured and scheming. And ML is much more brutal then Ling BuYi, and he also has to deal with family politics. A lot for this couple to handle😅.

If you like to see the Qing Dynasty and its transition to Republican Era, this would be a good watch. However I am sure here they will portray a positive light of the journey.

Np, I am glad to clarify. I feel their relationship here is a lot worst, as it’s because of FL’s grandfather’s betrayal that resulted in many deaths of ML’s family. But they knew it since the beginning and FL’s marriage is suppose to form alliance so ML won’t attack them. Till ep 5, ML is still not truly able to trust FL as he knew she marries for a reason. Its an upstream tasks for her to slowly gain his trust. And she has to face his family who will also hate her family. Hope this helps to clarify. I am enjoying their intense chemistry, hope you will like it too. The leads are doing a good job in their roles.;)
