I was thinking, "this is going too fast", but then I remembered, "ah... only 12 episodes" 😭😭
Although I'll miss them, I'm glad its only 12 episodes. We're likely to miss out on the unnecessary, frustrating misunderstandings writers like to drag out for four long episodes before sloppily resolving it on episode 16.

That was the most comforting, romantic convenience store meal I've ever witnessed.🥰 The way Eun Ho takes care of people warms my heart. He's the true prince we've been waiting for. Eun Ho is a classy single dad who lives in a normal, well-organized apartment, makes a comfortable living for his small family of two, respects women, and has kind friends who live regular lives. No chaebol ties, overbearing parents, bodyguards, nasty friends, bad temper, power struggles, unreported assaults, or secret fiance. I haven't seen this man yank a woman's arm yet! He's the human manifestation of Grandma's chicken noodle soup made with love on a winter afternoon after playing in the snow with friends. Green flag x infinity!

Min Hyeong is kind of getting on my nerves.😅 I can't tell if she's written that way or portrayed that way by the actress. Do people like this exist in life? I suppose her flippant personality is how she gets through in life, but please do your job properly. Jung Woo finally opens up to you and asks for help on his case and you go cold on him after harassing him with your presence because your brother is the suspect? That's a conflict of interest. I saw in the comments that they sneak in a last-minute romance. These two are not a match!

Those are really good examples (though you reminded me of the tragic cancellation of Juvenile Justice 😭) I've…
Well said! I had no idea Juvenile Justice was supposed to have another season. That drama was so interesting and satisfying! The whole time I was like, "Get 'em, girl!"🤣 I feel like the story wrapped up well, so I didn't have a feeling of incompleteness. I do wish we could've seen her get some retribution on her mother-in-law. I'm sorry to hear you experienced injustices.❤️ I definitely agree that shows like these can be cathartic after suffering such!

Our Min Ki truly is one of the greats! I hope he gets more challenging roles and win some awards. It was very dark and gritty, but he was outstanding in Monster. His acting range is exceptional! He can play anyone.

Wholeheartedly agree with your description of Eun Ho😄👍 and how he prioritizes her when he learns about her…
Ah, thank you! I feel like they're kind of slow-rolling how Jeong Hun fits into all this on a personal level. All kinds of mess and trauma can come from being in a chaebol family, so perhaps Ji Yun was some kind of emotional support to him as a noona friend and he got attached. We see in this episode that her icy exterior hides a warm heart, so it's not outlandish to consider. I appreciate the article you shared!

Byeol met her match in Ji Yun. Their little sassy and sweet exchanges at the bookstore were so cute! Su Hyeon, be blessed with "Abbeonim."🤣 Jin Yun and Eun Ho are perfection together. I see the vision. We're being graced with Captain/Seri 2.0, and it's what the world needs.

I can't figure out Jeong Hun. What exactly is his purpose? He has no backstory. He just randomly shows up like Spiderman when Ji Yun has medical events and then looks forlorn. We've never seen them have a real interaction that would suggest any history for him to be so randomly attached. Then we get a half-baked encounter with a former sister-in-law who wants distance. Who are you and what do you want???

I like how well-rounded Eun Ho is as a person. He has his manly charms and valor, but he's equally warm and gentle. He's also very secure. How many ML's in drama past would've freaked out about carrying a pink umbrella with characters on it? Eun Ho chose it. I think the last healthy ML I saw in a romance was Do Guk in Perfect Marriage Revenge. I hope to have more characters like them. Regulated nervous systems are attractive!

I thought the age was incorrect and googled it.🤣 He's living out his 20's for a fourth time. Good for him!

Lee Min Ki has been my favorite since way back on Dal Ja's Spring. I've been waiting for him to star in something again that shows off all his Lee Min Ki-ness lol.

I really like this drama so far. If it's as predictable as others say, I think I'll still be able to continue enjoying it for the aspects of character development and the premise of helping victims get justice and their dignity back.

The Glory and Juvenile Justice exposed the culprits from the beginning, but it was the character development and the pursuit of justice that made these so captivating. I'm hopeful!

I finished it and I loved it! Honestly, I was expecting this fluffy, silly plot with mediocre acting, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a multilayered story that balances out the sweet and silly with the dark and heavy. I enjoyed the suspense and chemistry between the different characters. The plot twists were great too. I adore the leads and the secondary couples. I highly recommend! This drama isn't what it looks like on the surface. It's a fairly deep story. I give it a 9/10.

It's a nail-biter in these final episodes, but I think it's going to be a happy ending. I've got 2 episodes left.
It's a very happy ending!

I hope second FL lead actually gets our main guy but she will probably end up with the useless director
Yeah, the preview has it looking like she may wind up with that other guy. I'm not quite sure what to make of him. He seemed genuinely concerned about the CEO (I was thinking he could be a love rival) when she was in the ER, but then he showed up to work still drunk in the next episode. Hopefully he does some growing up too.

You bring up a valid concern. I truly hope they don't go in that direction and she just quietly goes over to her mama's house for a good cry and drown her sorrows in fried chicken and beer. Just be a grown woman about this and move on peacefully.

I'm seeing a ready-made family for Eun Ho with Su Hyeon. I already know I'm going to feel conflicted as usual. Episode 2 has me experiencing signs of Early Onset Second Lead Syndrome. I know my tough gyal CEO is going to heal and become a wonderful life partner, but Su Hyeon is ready right now!😭 Seeing that handsome man in his office clothes playing happily with their kids on the playground?😍Girl, this lost love is going to hurt.😓

Ngl, this crossed my mind. She's already in the right mind and spirit to love and be in a healthy relationship. She has a very sweet, adorable personality. It's the same dilemma we face with the reverse of this trope. The warm-hearted SML always wins our hearts over the cold-hearted ML who unthaws over time and woos us by suddenly being thoughtful lol. I guess that's what makes all this fun and sometimes painful!

I'm perched! I love how therapy is normal and Byeol's progress is supported, valued, and celebrated by her father and samchun.🥰 That sketchbook scene was so precious. I also appreciate how the therapist explained that Byeol is in a great place but it doesn't necessarily mean it's over. That's such an important message about mental health. It's a journey. Let's give it up for Dad "dadding" and sacrificing his career to prioritize his daughter's care. This drama is so anti-cultural in that regard. I really love it. Eun Ho may be on the cusp of dethroning Captain Rhi as the ideal man lol.
