The first teaser had me thinking this will be more on the melodramatic side, but it's giving rom com, heavy on the com, so far. It's no problem; I just expected something deep and heavy. I can see this getting silly as it progresses. The auntie gang, fangirling, and baseball incident heightened my suspicions. I wanted a serious love story.😞

There's a forehead phobia in K-entertainment. I remember it took about 6 years before I got to see my kpop bias' entire forehead, and that hairstyle didn't last long. Just yesterday watching a drama, I found it unnecessary to style Cha Eun Woo's hair with half a bang. Let that man's forehead breathe!

Loving it so far! It's quite relatable. It may be a romance drama, but it also focuses on the challenges people face in the workplace. It kind of reminds me of Misaeng in that regard!

The surprise dinner at the local grill to convince Mr. Yang to stay is giving office pizza party in lieu of an annual bonus. Eun Ho was out here wooing that man back only for his own superior, Chief Kim, to discredit and humiliate him in front of his peers at their celebration dinner all because he took parental leave for his severely depressed child during an HR system overhaul. I like how FL is pushing for people to know their worth and act accordingly in these corporate streets. You really have to look out for your own best interest. This is case in point!

To be respected and not run over, I can see how FL would have developed mental callouses to navigate the male-dominated environment of business and rise. Certain career paths can harden you because that's the only way to advance. Sadly, it seeps into other aspects of your life and changes you as a person.

I completely forgot about this drama two years ago. 2022 was such a time to be alive with the many great dramas airing. It was easy to lose track. I'm so glad I picked this up again! Milk is my favorite. His judgmental gaze and haughty body language are indeed cat-like lol. I've watched other dramas of characters dating people who transformed from being animals, but never where the person was originally their pet. The personal history makes is extra strange, but you move past it after a while lol.

Ming has no redeeming qualities. I'm sorry. Why are these writers putting Joe through hell? They should've just let that man's soul be at rest or pair him up with Sol.

The photos of the leads dressed in black are so chic. I have high hopes that this couple may be Captain Ri/Seri level.💖

This drama is so intense. I wasn't expecting that. I'm on the edge of my seat as I binge it in one sitting. The chemistry between the leads is next level. Mikoto and Yui keep saving them from themselves lol. Although the plot is nothing new, the execution makes it feel fresh. I really like this drama.

I think they did that because the actor is half Japanese in real life, and you can tell by his appearance he's not fully Taiwanese. They probably wrote it into thr story. ML's father is Japanese in the drama too.

I'm glad ol' girl has her own place. I was confused as to why someone with a fulltime corporate job was still living with her friend's family and had no bed of her own. It's time to step aside for our Zi Xiang. Don't worry. He won't blame a hearing impaired man for not hearing. Zi Xiang finds that beautiful about him. Jonathan is setting a new standard. I don't think I've seen a character quite like him. He's truly a corporate baddie with hood sensibilities. Don't let the glasses and smedium suits fool you! He deserves a spinoff.

This is really cute and fun...and a little dark! I had my reservations at first, which is why I'm just now watching it. I really like the leads and find their interactions sweet and cozy. I also like how creepy 2ML is with his sudden appearances and jumping down from roof tops.🤣 It really feels random and out of place until later. At first, the family curse backstory doesn't connect with the flashbacks or the supernatural characters who appear. It feels disjointed like I'm watching three different shows. For example , Strong Girl Bong Soon did a wonderful job blending the light main plot with the dark subplot of kidnapping. The later episodes are tying it all together a bit better.

It's the backstory on the family curse, but the way they go about it in the beginning gives absolutely no context and feels like a waste of time. The flashbacks in the later episodes give more info and make sense.

I finished it in one sitting. It's a masterpiece. I give it 10/10. Give it an Emmy for best foreign drama and OST. This is amnesia done right and in a fresh way! I love it and will rewatch. I don't understand how the rating is below an 8.2. What a beautiful drama with such beautiful people and exceptional acting. This may be the prettiest couple yet, and the competition has been stiff. And hooray for no toxic female characters! Tomoko was a real one and looked out for the couple. She was too cute! This drama is now in my top five.

I've been sitting on this one waiting to get into the right mood for this kind of plot. Ma'am, that opening scene on episode one! My goodness, not even a gentle lead in? We're coming in swinging with two handsome boyfriends with model features arguing and the camera doing close-ups on their high cheekbones??? I was not ready. Ritsu is really adorable. I need Fumiya to use his words and quit expecting Ritsu to mind read. Ritsu probably had no idea how he felt and kept going about his drawings thinking everything is fine. Fumiya is irritating me with how he's walking this situation out.

Japan rarely disappoints with JBLs. Most of the time they cast equally attractive actors and tell a great story without getting long-winded. Then they drop bops for the opening and closing theme songs that you desperately Shazam. We eat well here.

I loved La Cuisine, so I'm really enjoying this drama so far. As a sweets person who enjoys cozy spots like this bakery, the drama has a comforting vibe. The pretty people are a bonus. Guy is my favorite simply for existing. I feel he and Shin match better visually than with Peach (I adore Peach btw). Peach fits better with Atom. Idk, I've noticed casting can look wonky in TBL's (couples not matching). Poom, the actor, is incredible! I love his smile. I've never seen or heard of him before. He's definitely the top visual in Thailand. He needs to be cast in a drama with Jeff Satur or Boss Chaikamon. I'll definitely be watching more of his dramas.

I don't hate it! It's nothing groundbreaking, but it's flowing nicely. I like the that FL doesn't behave like a damsel or a maiden, but she's also not a hardened career woman. She's a regular woman who does her job well, is respected by her colleagues, and lives her life whether single or taken. FL isn't a "pitiful leftover." ML being a tease but caring is fun. I'm glad he's not forceful or passive. So far, this drama meets in the middle of the spectrum when it comes to rom-com. No extremes. And let's be honest, Japan likes to go over the top on these dramas and make the characters act nutty.

I could be wrong, but my assumption is the company succession order and an incident that occurred when they were kids. Zi Xiang has no interest in succeeding the business and appears inept to boot. Since his dad is the head, he's the expected successor by default. Also, in an earlier episode, the cousin mentioned on the phone something snide about Zi Xiang shoving him in somewhere and leaving him (or something like that).

Jonathan is such a charming bully lol. The scars and fighting skills tell me this chic man may have gotten his start in street life and leveled up to the corporate world. I find sign language beautiful, so it's sweet watching the leads communicate with each other. I've seen many remixes of the "falling kiss," but the "falling lip swipe kiss" takes the cake lol.

The poster told me all I needed to know. Absolutely not. It's giving off brand cereal that comes in a bag on the bottom shelf instead of a box. I'll stick with the original.
