Episode 10 * Wei Qian has health issues, blood clot in his brain is causing him nosebleed. Dr.Lin recommends getting checked out at a major hospital and possibly go for an operation. * Wei Qian is afraid that he might not survive the operation leaving Zhiyuan and Lili alone. * Diving into overprotective mode, Wei Qian wants his medical condition hidden from Zhiyuan but the person who keeps such a close watch over you will definitely find out if anything is wrong. * It was very funny how San Pang, Wei Qian and Xiong da fang try to hide things from Zhiyuan who already knows everything and is upset because Wei Qian is not ready to confide him. * After the incident with Le ge, Wei Qian realises how important Zhiyuan is in his life but he doesn't know whether the love he feels for him is brotherly platonic kind or the romantic kind, the only thing he knows is that he is too scared of losing him. Wei Qian feels empty without Zhiyuan in his life. * Time to make a decision for Wei Qian as Zhiyuan's feelings have been like an open book from the very beginning. His life sums up with the two words 'Wei Qian'.
Episode 11 * Wei Qian bravely takes first steps towards Zhiyuan. Even though he is unsure about his feelings, what he cannot live with is losing Zhiyuan forever. They consumate their love and the love scene was picturised very aesthetically, their old conversations and actions being played in the background.
* I refuse to believe that Lili didn't know what has happened between her brothers, she pretends to be naive to escape from such awkward situations but as Zhiyuan told Wei Qian that she is pretty smart.
* Wei Qian needs to be operated to remove the blood clot, there is no certainty as to the results of the operation. He may recover fully or he lose his faculties and become a burden for his loved ones post operation. * Zhiyuan gives him the courage to move forward and face the situation bravely, Wei Qian has always been a rock for his siblings and Zhiyuan promises to stay with Wei Qian forever. * Also a very heartfelt conversation between Lili and San Pang, showing her own worry for Wei Qian. When Zhiyuan brings Wei Qian home, there is relief and immense love in the hug shared by the Wei family, ready to tackle the future together.
Episode 12 * Everyone in the office is wondering who is the top and who is the bottom. Wei Qian, isn't that obvious 😜 * Wei Lili and Zhiyuan have a heart to heart talk. * Lili is pregnant and like any other guardian, Wei Qian is afraid she is too young to handle the responsibility of bringing up a child..she may feel ties down later due to this early decision. * Wei Qian goes for his scheduled surgery, knowing well that he is loved and someone will always be waiting for him. * Final scene of two proud uncles, Wei Qian and Zhiyuan looking at the pictures or Lili and her new family. * The best family award goes to Wei family. Award🎉🎉 The End.

Episode 9The ninth kind of a family is always there to protect you when then end comes.Fabulous episode, Chris…
* The opening conversation continuing from previous episode..Wei Qian is more open to physical advances from Zhiyuan. Four years ago he turned his back on Zhiyuan in anger but can't bring himself to send him away the second time. Zhiyuan has already caught the fish in his net.
* San Pang being on probation as far as his relationship with Lili is concerned...him murmuring that how long he has known Wei Qian and still he is on probation was just funny.
* Le ge is back... Zhiyuan has been keeping tabs, he feels Le ge would want revenge because of the way he had been forced to leave the country and blame Wei Qian. (From what I saw, I feel that if Wei Zhiyuan wouldn't have approached Le ge's gang, Le ge wouldn't have gone after both 'brothers'....Le ge always had a soft spot for Wei Qian). But in a way it was good that Zhiyuan confronted the devil and got a closure for them or else they would always live in fear of what Le Ge would do to them in future....
* It's funny that in spite of advanced weapons in use currently, when the game of Russian roulette is played with a gun, the goon always holds the old fashioned revolver....(Guess it's not as dramatic with new type of guns)
* The scene of both Wei Qian and Wei Zhiyuan trying to save the other was exactly the pay off needed for the viewers to realise how strong a bond they have between themselves.. both actors, Chris Chiu and Kurt Huang did a wonderful job portraying the raw emotions of two people fearing for the life of the other and the helplessness of being overpowered, unable to save the person that mattered the most in their lives, comprehending how empty and meaningless their lives would be without the other.
* After the fight when Wei Qian looked at Wei Zhiyuan on their way home, I thought he would hit him in anger because he put himself at risk but I guess he was so devasted by the possibility of Zhiyuan dying that there was no room for resentment left only extreme relief that made him clutch yuan tightly hoping he would never have to let him go.
* The small detail of Wei Qian vacuuming Wei Zhiyuan's room and finding his hidden treasure box underneath his bed filled with mementos of Qian was gold...Wei Qian and Wei Zhiyuan are both ready to start a new phase of their lifelong journey.
* Next week's preview was quite concerning, Wei Qian's health has been a worrying factor from the get go...hope they have defied death for good and it doesn't catch them unaware.

Fabulous episode, Chris Chiu and Kurt Huang did a wonderful job portraying raw emotions and baring the souls of their characters in this episode.
Near death experiences always help us put things into correct perspective. Most of us spend our whole lives doing what is expected from us rather than what we really wish to do. We are divided between our aspirations and perceived limitations....very few people wake up at the right moment and realise what is IMPORTANT in their lives and get a chance to grab on to it.

*It is difficult for someone who has taken care of their younger siblings his whole life to realise they have grown up and don't require a caretaker anymore, they have grown up and prefer to take their own decisions often without asking permission first of having any discussion prior to making their choice....This is the reality that is often difficult for the guardian to accept at least in the beginning when your wards have grown up and like a fully fledged bird they cant be kept safe in the nest any longer.
*Glad that the revelation of, Lili and San Pang's relationship was quickly dealt with, there were obviously some ruffled feathers on Wei Qian's part because as Wei Zheiyuan explained to Qian, it's difficult to accept change because we have become accustomed to the things as they are.
* We shouldn't forget that Lili has two loving people in her family, Wei Qian and Wei Zheiyuan...both of the men in her life have protected and accompanied her so far.... it's easier to see both of them as her parents' substitute and Wei Zheiyuan being more sensitive and understanding is more accepting of this new relationship where as Wei Qian is the disgruntled, stubborn person. However ultimately both the men in her life will have to make way for the third person in her life.
* Wei Zheiyuan is as loving as always towards Wei Qian but after the time apart and contemplating their relationship, he has a more mature attitude regarding his feelings which will probably help him win Qian's heart in the end....His has started asking direct questions to Qian about his feelings. He is enjoying the game of cat and mouse, the Hangover remedy that he gave to Xiong Da Fang first, was jarring for Qian, he has become so used to being the most important person in Wei Zheiyuan's life that he was taken back when yuan did not serve him first. Zheiyuan has become smart in his courting, he constantly keeps Qian on his toes with his unpredictable behaviour - casual touching, looking directly at Qian while Qian avoids his gaze, making food for Qian and feeding him.
* Wei Zheiyuan was never a cruel and malicious person so his actions don't stem from him wanting to make Qian suffer, he is trying to be there for Qian, showing Qian that he is an adult, capable of making his decision and his decision is to love Qian.
* Wei Qian obviously has strong feelings for Yuan, he just needs to process them..loved small touches that showed the growing awareness....yuan looking fondly at the cactus that Wei Qian nurtured in his absence...Wei Qian texting Wei Zheiyuan to ask if he was free for the trip and Wei Zheiyuan gleefully telling that Wei Qian has to be more considerate of Yuan than Lili because Qian didn't give birth to Lili (so he was not directly responsible for her being in the family) but Qian had adopted Yuan (so he chose to take Yuan's responsibility).
* The conversation between Wei Qian and Wei Zheiyuan before the episode ended was pure gold. Wei Zheiyuan is more relaxed as he has had time to understand his feelings, becoming more secure and at peace. His questions to Qian were soul-stirring. *We Zheiyuan to Wei Qian " If you do (like Wei Zheiyuan) is it only because we are brothers? This thing about us, is it that you don't want or you don't dare?"----- million dollar question.
*Next week's episode is very intense, if that doesn't make Wei Qian come to terms with his feelings for Yuan then nothing would...

Episode 7The seventh kind of family is always waiting in the distance, never leaving. Distance really makes the…
* Zhiyuan has left the home and his absence is felt like a huge gaping wound... Zhiyuan left notes everywhere in the refrigerator, on the insurance file, near his bed stand hoping for Wei Qian's well being and to show how important Qian was for him.
* Wei Qian has totally let himself go after Zhiyuan left, he keeps drinking too much, has excessive headaches, doesn't want to participate in any revelry. Even Lili has left the home and stays in a dormitory.
* Wei Qian pushes San Pang and Lili to go together and maybe this will make Lili fall in love with San Pang as he is getting more involved in her life while Wei Qian is spending the majority of his time at a distance, brooding over the state of things.
* Wei Zhiyuan has more information about Lili's life even though he had been away compared to Qian who seems too immersed in his sorrowful guilt.
* loved the small ways that the director showed Qian missing Zhiyuan, from cleaning his desk, changing the bulb of his desk lamp to changing the bedsheets and then speding the nights in his bed..... Watering the cactus was such a great way to show the passage of time and Wei Qian's devotion towardw Zhiyuan.
* The conversation between Wei Qian and Lai Xiong also was inserted to highlight Zhiyuan's place in Wei Qian's life... The food stall owner asking why Qian's brother hadn't been seen recently to Xiong's sarcastic reply that Zhiyuan had been sent away for further studies. It also paid homage to Wei Qian's commitment towards his younger siblings and how he became an inspiration for a heart broken Xiong to put his life together after his own loss.
* finally Wei Qian asks Zhiyuan to come back home if he missed it... That was all it took for Zhiyuan to rush back home... The last few minutes were like a soothing balm to both Wei Zhiyuan and Qian... Wei Zhiyuan taking charge and taking the drunk Qian back home, not allowing him to go for more drinking... The way Wai Qian extended his hand and put it on Zhiyuan's shoulder...in the taxi Zhiyuan making Qian comfortable by removing his tie and spectacles, Qian leaning on Zhiyuan's shoulder and Zhiyuan heaving a sign of satisfaction to be back at his beloved's side. All these small things showed why Zhiyuan and Qian are the perfect couple... After Zhiyuan's arrival, it felt the soul was back in Qian's impassive body.
* Even Lili notices that the Yuan who has come back has changed... He has learnt to be assertive and takes charge of the situation, he will reprimand Qian wherever he finds him at fault... Qian better be ready for the changed dynamics between them.
* The last scene of Zhiyuan bickering with Lili and Wei Qian chuckling indulgently depicted the close bond of this family that remains to be strong when they are together.
* Next week's preview, Qian may get a rude jolt when Zhiyuan doesn't fawn over him like before.. Maybe he needs to wake up and seize zhiyuan's love before it's too late.. . Qian has to more active in his pursuits.
