Are you trying to look for or avoid sexy time? They did not copulate, but got close to each other when she was underdressed. 2003 for LoTR is fine if you don't mind the dated look. It's only for RoCH that you don't want to miss 2006 and Liu Yifei.
Also might be worth it to watch the Legend of Condor Heroes first, as some important characters are introduced in the first of the trilogy. The 2017 version is not bad.
I think it's in both versions, as it's part of the story (and they didn't really "sleep together"). When it comes to Condor Heroes adaptations, there are so many versions that cases can be made for different ones. The one I saw was the 2006 version.
And that's the one I would recommend, as Liu Yifei is simply breathtaking, a literal fairy goddess, in this one. So you get to see the young Liu Yifei, whose character made her an instant icon and "eternal goddess" in China. It's not a perfect show by any means, but just her alone is worth the price of admission.
This drama is a very broad drama. It doesn't really have a direction in story. Like even the ending has a weird…
Yeah it's by design as the source material is an ongoing Manhua, and the anime adaptation also has 5 seasons already. Apparently the live adaptation is already modified to give more closure than anime for S1.
I'm just happy as they almost got cancelled. And now not only did they get great reception in China, they are filming S2 soon.
The grandfather joined the 36 thieves and developed the 8 supreme arts in the valley. Then Baobao met with some…
What we do know is that the grandpa was one of the thieves that stumbled into the Valley of 24 when it mysteriously opened up. And 8 of them developed the supreme skills, which had more to do with the Valley and luck than their ability. One of the 8 is 'Wugensheng', Baobao's father and former leader of Sinister Pleasures. Baobao had somehow died, and the 8 (missing the granny) were there attempting to revive her, and apparently succeeded.
As to why Baobao died, how exactly they revived her, what happened afterwards, what happened to Baobao's father and why did he lead Sinister Pleasure against others, etc, there are so many big questions left unresolved.
But that's expected as it's S1 in a show planned for multiple seasons. And the director modified the manhua a little to provide more closure to the season ending. And apparently many of these questions are not yet resolved in the ongoing Manhua.
in final episode how could everyone reached in valley of 24 terms or he just recieved their qi by Qi approhrnrsis…
It's unclear but plausible. Some sort of link had been opened up to the Valley of 24 by whatever the Granny and ZCL was doing and you are shown scenes where the other characters notice it. Was ZCL able to receive Qi due to Qi Apotheosis or something else is not explained. And there are other mysteries like Baobao, her father, and Jiashen. We'll have to find out in future seasons.
Could only vouch for JoL, which is a superb show. The rest I either can't comment because I've not seen. Or, more typically, I think you should kill with fire just based on the title and poster.
Sword Snow Stride, Joy of Life, Legend of Condor Heroes, Return of Condor Heroes. These are all 'soft' harems though, as multiple females will fall for the male lead, but he's still about the FL, like this one.
Technically this is the final installment of the Condor Heroes trilogy, even though they can be viewed independently and are only loosely connected.
Hi! I wanted to ask about the diminutive forms of Chinese names. Is there any difference between using "Xiao"…
Agree with the other response that -er is the most prevalent in the North, though also used throughout China. I think it's the reverse for Ah-, which is more prevalent in the South, especially Cantonese regions. And Ah- is not necessarily diminutive, more 'casualize', as it can be used for someone older or higher status. (I'm not Cantonese though so could be wrong). Repeater I feel generally indicate a more familiar relationship, especially common among relatives. I would consider them all as 'casualizers', and they can be endearing, ironic, or insulting depending on the usage context and tone of voice.
One interesting example that comes to mind is 小姐姐 'xiao jiejie' , 'little older sister'. It avoids xiaojie, which has become an euphemism for hooker; it avoids jiejie because girls don't want to feel too old; but also something with 'mei' may also lack the respect. So xiaojiejie--older, but still young and beautiful, but also respected.
They reveal a bit of her mysterious background ep10-11. Her memory and emotions were wiped. But keep watching,…
They probably do to a degree, but it's definitely not a direct route, I'm on ep16 and they haven't done that yet, but seems to do so later in S1. Also keep in mind there will be a season 2.

There will be some big reveals, and while there will be evil antagonists, I suspect the ultimate source of conflict is more complicated (which adds layer to the show). I think ep 10-11 will give a lot of clues.
Seems like you are struggling with the show a bit. I guess it's a different style than the typical cdrama in recent years. I love it though, it reminds of Stephen Chow humor/movies with its vibe.
