Like why is he immediately starting to follow and kiss Jin. Saying it's not like he likes him, ofc. They barely know each other, just becoming acquaintances and Haruki's throwing himself at Jin (the only explanation for that is, he's a pervert or just a teenager - or both ;) +the actor's appearance is not even close to "a teenager"), and Jin is like "dude, wtf, stay away" but still inivites him over... I can't enjoy it.^^'
You want to mention WHY this war started? Move back almost 80 years. "Someone" had made a new country on the land…
People def should know but also should get their infos from reliable sources. As MDL is not made for explaining politics or provide news around the world and anyone can write anything, I wouldn't recommend using it for that purpose. And remember the drama is fictional afterall - however I'm extremely curious why have they chosen "paltima" and "ijumael". The first one doesn't sound much as "Palestine" but the latter is similar to "Iseurael"(Korean spelling).
To Lily Alice, the author of this article: This is the most biased article I have ever seen, one which tries to…
You want to mention WHY this war started? Move back almost 80 years. "Someone" had made a new country on the land where people lived and "someone" pushed them from their houses. Without any compensation and using special troops who burned, raped and murdered - bc residents didn't want to leave. (There's many proofs of that from BOTH sides of the conflict.)
However I don't think this site is for political and historical debate on current world hot topics. Same shit happened when Russia attacked Ukraine - under the news of a celebrity who donated money for humanitarian aid a real shitstorm formed, so the comment section was deleted. With this news itself there's nothing wrong, but the author could've omitted this short inserts "why did it make some viewers raging" which has nothing to do with dramaland.
Ohhhh people donāt like it when romance is portrayed with no butterflies & sunshine š¤Itās not something…
It's not lack of fluff that turned me off here. Actually I'm surprised there's "romance" tag (just discovered)XD Now I can see there's also "social satire", hmm. Closer than "romance" at least. I see nothing similar to "love" in this drama and I'm not a fan of "butterflies&sunshine" as you're trying to prove. There's clinging, obsession, dependency. I have no idea why Yi Seo Yeon was so fixated on Han Jeon Won. Is her depression the answer for everything? A little like you've said: too meek for a psychological thriller but too complex (and dark) for a regular social drama.
Watched it in a day (had to mess up my sleep schedule) and I loved it. definitely worth watching but netflix subtitles…
Netflix subs are often wrong. They should've just written down dialogues from dubbing speaker or dubbing. Fun fact they are different from the written subs and more accurate.
Harsh but... there's some truth in itXD I feel like every character had mental problems but only Eom Tae Seong was labeled as one.
So, the drama having 8.0 score is another case of overscoring because of the actors appereance, and was rated BEFORE they even watched it? I gave it 5.5.
Do you have any recommendations for drama like ita kiss?
Oh that's true, there's ISWAK on yt with decent quality. When I wanted to rewatch it some time ago I only found smth like 144pXD If the actor was far from the camera, you won't recognise him. Yeah, Zhi Shu is the best!

It started with a kiss is really great! Better than the 2nd season. I definitely recommend this one. I can't think of any other drama that would be similar (but different) sorry^^"
It's bc she was poisoned with Momai (as you know for sure) and when she was in Xiyan, the general took the dragon…
Omg....I must've missed it... But you sure she had her martial arts while sneaking after the prince and then finding her maid? I feel that when she got better (from collapsing) she was already stripped of them. A superb dart it would be! To destroy someone's martial arts at once and so easily.
My question is, why did Mei Lin lose her martial art skills? Tbh I skipped eps 24 - 27. I just could barely watch…
It's bc she was poisoned with Momai (as you know for sure) and when she was in Xiyan, the general took the dragon flower which Yue Qin was keeping for her. So when her health started to deteriorate the prince had found "a way". A dubious treating method which use other's blood. Simultaneously it prolonged her life for a few months (3-4 if I recall correctly) and destroyed her martial art skills.
A stupid idea imo. I loved how Mei Lin could fight by herself.
The one who had a weak body condition was Mei Lin, due to all the spoil food she had after Qinzhou great arson.…
Just for clarification: I didn't link beard with being an old man or a widower. Wasn't 35 already not-so-young in the old times? When we now think about a wise, stable and settled down man it would probably smth around 60? 70?:D In the past it would be more like 40 or even earlier. Also in a drama if it was just a few years and the character shouldn't have grey hair yet but they want/need to show his older: they add a beard :) Same in Korean costume dramas. Happened to many crown princes who became kings :D
No one has convinced the other, but thanks for the discussion :)
P.S. "Love between fairy and devil" and "Word of honor" have happy endings :)

I loved male-single-dad's-friendship, or maybe comradeship would be a better word.
But still I gave it 8 overall, it had ups and downs, at the beginning more ups later more downs.
P.S. Haejun as a child was so cute that even I would have taken him in<3
