My eyes.... This show's name should be "cry me a river". T~T But I'm loving it!
Park Bo Gum's character is a perfect boyfriend, husband and father material. 1,5 ep is left for me and there wasn't a single thing that I didn't like. I mean, there're a lot of things that aggravated me but the story'ss well written and the execution'ss great as well. There's nothing to niggle.
I have a serious second male lead syndrome - the romance trope should've been with him. I'm after the middle of this series and it's quite interesting - the criminal case. There're some funny moments too. I'd say the pace is rather slow. But when it comes to relationship between the leads, it's booooring. And actually feels forced. Maybe it's the age gap? They are 6 years apart (so not that much), but it's visible ;x
I like seaside based stories and saw pretty high rating so despite a personal trigging trope I gave it a try. The small village arch was ok I guess? Nice views, interesting side stories. The comedy? Oh yeah you can choke with laugh a few times!! However the romance was off from the beginning. At first just a little and there're other things on-screen but later it's gotten worse. Hye Jin's started to act so moronic it's hard to watch. 5 episodes left for me, but I want to drop it. The romance trope killed this drama, they behave much worse than teenagers, but are supposed to be 34? Or Hye-jin might be 2 years younger. Still I'd say they're (or should be) rather adultish. I'll rate it quite low, even about 2 stars lower bc of the trigger, but even when I put it aside, I wouldn't recommend this drama. And rewatch value? NONE.

I screamed: - Why don't call for the fucking backup??!! - Grill his balls!!! You have the taser, right?! - Gauge his fucking eyeballs if nothing else works and he's about to suffocate you!
I loved the movie, great fighting scenes with one of my fav actors. However I had three things throughout the movie that I internally screamed about. It's mild spoiler so I'll self-censor. This movie has made me wondering from what are their skulls made of? :D They gonged exponentially and it felt like one stroke was about to blow them out.
Highly recommended if you want a nice slugfest, still the plot could've improved at some points. I'd like to see smth similar.
I just want to say Luo Yun Xi has stolen this drama, imo. His character's story and his transition was the most interesting part. Ofc not the only one here.
If FL is the protagonist, plus a title character (she’s the hero), then what’s the point of it all?
I agree it'll be super hard but still FL can "steal the show" that we don't care that much for the other characters. It's smth different from being in the center of a drama. This list should be much more shorter.
A Harry Potter romcom would be amazing. Rowling is not great with romance, so the writers could have a field day…
Omo, I'd prefer not to change Harry Potter into a romcom ^^; I've also thought about the idea of Korean HP though, but I kinda can't wrap my mind around it XD
Could you please hide your comment under "Spoiler" ?Some people haven't watched this drama yet and parts of your…
I don't really regard my previous comment as a spoiler. Maybe a little one and about the the beginning. What I wrote about Juwon could be written in the description. But ok, I edited and divided, as you've asked. I hope it's better now.
And funny thing that now the drama's despription is much more of a spoiler to me. It tells the second part of the drama :D There are 16 eps in total but the synopsis focuses on even less than the second half. And you don't think this is a spoiler?:)
It would have been a really great family drama if it ended on ***th ep.I loved male-single-dad's-friendship, or…
The 9th ep it was.
When I started I thought: omg Juwon is the happiest girl ever - wished for an oppa and got two in the package. With no evil step-mother. Later my heart broke together with her.
From 10th ep it became a regular romance drama, not really sophisticated.

P.S. I'm not saying it's the best one, but def better than Hometown cha-cha-cha.

Edit: I forgot to add the horrible music👎
