I can only you that the acting was 100% in this drama. The second lead couple really doesn't exist -- stories and relationships are intertwined so I can't really answer your question. If you want to see great acting I would recommend -- I was really amazed by their performances. However, I would give the write and editor a 20% rating.
just in case you decide to watch -- draggy and poor ending. Clickbait title on YouTube. I persevered to the end because after 50% I believe I should at least find out what happened. Very disappointed. A story that could have been told in 20 episodes easily.

Watching too many dramas - trying to read more. Dropped this one. May watch last 3 episodes just to get a gist of story ending. Too many episodes in some of these Republican type or costume Chinese Dramas.
Love Scenery -- fluffy and an imitation love 020 and so far can still watch (up to ep 10) , Hello Mr. Gu-- childish but started and can't put down. I just finished last night. I agree 100%. Such a major gem but for some reason it was not on my radar screen. Happened to see it listed on the Reddit site c/dramas top 10 on several lists so I decided to check it out -- and yes it deserves to be listed as one of the top ten -- every emotion I can think of was shared during this 36 epic classic. a
As a weekly viewer (instead of binge-watching) , there was one thing that I found made this drama lose its luster. That is the need to struggle to identify which timeframe the story was being told. Once you lose track of this factor in the storytelling everything becomes jumbled and no matter how brilliant a writer or director or actor may be, if the viewer is constantly trying to piece together storylines within storylines within storylines it diminishes the quality of viewing. I will definitely rewatch, but with a synopsis summary so that I can truly follow the gist of this sci-fi story.
I finished this last night and it truly is an exceptional story that has several "eye candy" leads. I evaluate the quality of a story based on editing - this story was told with fluidity and is addictive. The bromance of the story is understated until the very end and without giving any spoilers it is a MUST WATCH. Period dramas are always a treat because of the costumes and scenery. This drama does a great job capturing the Republican period.
Happened to see this drama listed on one of the sites as [end} with no previous episodes listed. Since only 7 episodes - binge watched it overnight and enjoyed every minute. Beautifully done and store of love was more beautiful. Love samarai stories and this one was excellent. enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend.
Just found this drama translated on YT under the name Road to my Love - lured into checking it out with clickbait title Married first, Love later. Watching Killer and Healer and definitely will continue watching this since binged Killer and Healer.
so far very good, started yesterday and binged 12 episodes. The fashions are a treat and the actors so far have done a wonderful job. Just hope the writers can continue to have a strong story that doesn't disappoint at the end. I hate nonsensical things in dramas or illogical endings.
Good drama, excellent production, title a misnomer, and the whispering voice of FL drove me crazy but that ML - my God, loved him in Tribes and Empire and he really did an amazing job in this drama. Fangirl time.

Everything ends with a happy ending - she continues to be cold, he continues to beg and accept her uncompromising attitudes, they have another one-nighter, she gets pregnant again, they reunite and he becomes the "new husband " that is taking the baby to work a juggling his schedule based on needs of the baby while she continues in her power struggle to fulfill her ambitions; the annoying assistant marries his nephew. The sister is reunited with her boss after he disappears to resolve the financial problems he caused the company. The company is opening a maternity room and it ends with the discourse that women should have equal rights (in everything) - a cultural change of huge magnitude without considering the choices and consequences.
Intense action and emotional ride. A great movie to watch -- gave it 9.5 because I was glued to my seat, yelling at the television screaming for the actors to complete their rescues safely. I was so immersed into this drama. Emotionally drained. Definitely, a must see if you like ACTION!!
