And if you are phrasing the question asked by Zheng shuang correctly, then it makes sense for the doctor to answer that way cause she forgot to add the braces bit for jaw correction or she was just being sarcastic. I don't know, YM doesn't strike me as the kind to be hypocritical about stuff, her words can be too blunt and easily misunderstood, but she doesn't seem concerned about the bad rep she's getting, unless it had to do with the fact that she was younger at the time.

What a person decides to do with her time is pretty much her business and doesn't have anything to do you, you either liked the show or you didn't, period. Besides since you are familiar with her age I wonder why you decided to watch the drama to have an excuse to drop a bad review?

After watching some clips I get why people are complaining about the acting. My problem with zhao liying is her inability to stay in character, sometimes she says one thing with her lips and I don't see it in her eyes or she's trying to portray a specific character but can't stay consistent when pushed to a limit (e.g fighting scenes) or other times forgets what the interpretation was for the previous episodes and starts going on her on momentum again. It's at the points where she's trying to act youthful that's where these flaws are glaring in this drama.

I hope they are'nt going to cut down the number of episodes, a lot could go wrong

On the contrary I liked the actress, she's promising and will improve in the coming years. But you're right,this drama is a bit overrated. I think it's bcoz most drama watchers enjoy fluffy youthful romance more than the mature ones and the dramas that came in this year were disappointing, even the really hyped ones.

Maybe a better director will work. It's not that the acting is bad, it's just that I can't connect to the character. There is so much more to acting than crying when asked to and laughing when asked to, if you haven't connected to your character then that's all there is to it... acting.

Yeah, I find zly a bit defficient when it comes to teamwork and camaraderie. It pushed the wrong buttons for me when I heard her complaining about princess agents and legend of fei. I mean I know people would say she shouldn't take crap, but what about the rest of the cast and production team, they were left in the lurch while zly earned pity in return. Also when pple misunderstood what she said she didn't bother to explain herself even when her co workers were being destroyed on social media for it. It doesn't maintain a good working environment or relationship.

I remember seeing an article where netizens were saying that there's only "one goddess (bai qian) and that's YM and won't be accepting Liu yifei's interpretation, but YM stepped up and told people that Liu yifei's characterization is different from TMOPB's in order to quell the unrest. YM could have just kept her mouth shut and allowed pple to roast Liu yifei, after all she would benefit from it but she didn't. It shows maturity and good social skills, which is required in this line of work.

If dillydilly can pull this one off, my impression of her will change, for now I still have the opinion that she can't carry her own show.

Yeah...I read that hateful article and from then I've decided to never follow c-ent news on jaynestar ever again. I find all jaynestar users to be brainless, jobless, keyboard warriors that delight in slandering successful people. It's where all the trolls congregate, so I see how no one with half a brain would open an account there much less argue reasonably with them. They have been so steeped in nonsensical theories and speculations that you can't pull them out (apologies to all resident jaynestar users).

ZLY and YM do not go in the same social circles and the times that they worked together did not end so well (you know the situation I'm talking about). So YM does not have any reason to be talking to ZLY, especially if her attitude shows that she's not the "small talk"type. To be polite it should only be an acknowledging head nod or a wave, but is YM supposed to make the first move? I mean it's not bcoz she's older than her but the one sitting on the far end of the seat while three others are close together playing a game is making a statement "I'm not in the mood for small talk or socializing, just a head nod would do". For her to make it seem ok she should acknowledge them in some sort of way first before crawling back into her shell.

But ZLY fans over there were insecure enough to cast the first blame. The very first comment there was to accuse YM of having a "diva attitude" and of course they didn't fail to remind everyone that ZLY is supposed to be "looked down on". Lol, I wanted to give them a piece of my mind, but did not want to be infected with their stupidity.
