lolol It aired today (Legend of the Magnate, leads: Chen Xiao, Sun Qian) https://kisskh.at/63963-the-tycoon
Exactly! You can tell when there's a bold and organized production, a well-structured storyline, with a plot that connects well to the narrative, with logical sequences that facilitate understanding of the plot. So far, I think it's impeccable!

How is it guyss, should i start it??
It's a quality production, with wonderful actors, especially Dilraba, Chen Xing Xu, and the villain, Zhang Li. It has an intelligent plot, an exciting pace, and some funny moments, but it's a dark story with scenes of violence. So far, the quality is impressive, I gave it a 9. Let's see if that quality will hold up. It remains to be seen if you like the genre; watch episode 1, that will be enough for you to know if you should continue or not.

Same here! I read in the comments (and this information comes from reliable sources, including some facts narrated on PXR's Weibo account) that several scripts were presented but discarded, resulting in only a few episodes delivered to the leads, sometimes just one episode, and that RJL broke with the agency as soon as the work was finished. The process itself was a disaster. All that's left is to support the actors and await the success that will surely come. Our affection for them is not affected by the writers' incompetence. I hope you find high-quality series that guarantee not only the investment made, but also the emotional engagement that often wears down when frustration is high. Have a happy day!

Your perception is correct; there's a general dehydration of the plot, of the core of each character, the plot loses consistency, tropes and predictability overflow on screen, there's no expected personal evolution of the leads, the narrative loses its way, it offends intelligence. When you get to episode 21, you'll get the impression that it's a story for children. It's regrettable that such talented and beloved actors, PXR and RJL, were wasted in a disastrous production. The writers are the only ones who deserve the weight of our criticism. To the actors and the entire team, all our solidarity and applause. Actually letting Luo go is a reflection of a Cangcang that no longer sees things in black and white and fits in…
lol You have great points of view, to some extent they soften the criticism, which helps to view CangCang's attitudes with less rigidity. Really, the only one who never acted out of love was her father. LXX and ZL do love LCC, but both are complicit with criminals and the many deaths of innocent people. Their love for LCC is the most positive aspect of their personalities, but neither of them acted out of love for LCC, only XH acted genuinely and exclusively driven by love in every gesture and action. On the other hand, LCC is unable to make that distinction. The writers made her totally intolerant of XH's omissions and completely indulgent towards those who have deep ties to criminals, harming her life, regardless of the personal reasons each one had for remaining in crime. I believe this stagnant development is merely a strategy to stretch out the plot, it lacks inspiration, and a lot of screen time was wasted on trivialities. In any case, I'll watch it until the end as the best way to support PXR and RJL. It's great to be back sharing opinions with you! 😄

I'm happy to know she's receiving affection from fans, including you. It's amazing how dedicated she is to responding to each fan, I imagine how impactful that is! PXR has a girl's face, she has a physiognomy that exudes purity, that's why she has the freshness of a 15-year-old. As for SJFY, like you, the age gap didn't matter to me either. Their age difference is 11-12 years. Age doesn't influence chemistry, but talent and engagement between the leads, total commitment to the character, and the director's sensitive guidance. It's great to share all this with you, I've always enjoyed your comments!

I agree with you. I read in a comment that he even left the agency after the series ended. In any case, both he and PXR carried the series on their own, all the other actors delivered excellent performances.

Shouldn't I say that RJL and PXR deserve much more than this drama that mediocre writers offered them? Of course they do, and we have to tell these writers that. Every viewer has the right to give feedback to the writers. I truly believe that our criticism is a way of support for RJL and PXR, whose talent was wasted on a mediocre story.

I like romance, with or without a kiss, with or without a happy ending, what I value is a well-written, intelligent, coherent story that doesn't devalue women or overvalue men.

Today we had two more predictable episodes and the unacceptable disrespect of the writers shoving down our throats an implausible LCC, because it offends intelligence and exhausts tolerance. We don't have to attack LCC, but the writers. And there's no way to defend LCC either; there's no point of view that can mitigate her conduct, given that she's aware of the truth.

As a character, LCC was presented to us as dignified, honest, loyal, fair, loving, balanced, and fearless woman. But to cater to the fetishes of writers who weaken the image of women, they change LCC's character at their whim, making sure to have NO commitment to her qualities, and in today's episodes (20-21), they presented us with a volatile and unprincipled LCC, because, already armed with all the truth, she was unable to correct the mistakes in which her surroundings entangled her.

So, LCC forgives and excuses all those who truly betrayed her with heinous crimes, but doesn't excuse nor connect XH with the elucidated facts and, worse, ignores him, even knowing that he omitted the truth not to commit crimes, but with good intentions, however questionable.

What is the real intention of these biased and dishonest writers? The message they are conveying is clear: to create serious demerits for LCC and overvalue and overcenter the victimhood of XH, thus consolidating his supposed superiority and magnanimit at the high price of dragging LCC into the pit of supposed feminine pettiness and lack of intelligence. The writers killed the dignified LCC and delivered to us an executioner, merciless woman. She didn't deserve this, nor did we.

The story and the characters lost consistency with each episode, seeming more like a children's story (today's episodes seem to be the climax of this disaster), the narrative is superficial, the plot twists lack strength, the storylines and solutions are simplistic and predictable, LCC and XH's reactions to critical situations are totally artificial, non-human reaction, and therefore don't generate empathy in the viewer, in addition to little action, little plot, an excess of poisons, potions, powders, miraculous and newly discovered antidotes, repeated gulps of blood, leads frequently injured, poisoned, or drunk.

The writers need to respect the audience and know that we have critical sense. They excessively manipulate the narrative construction through dialogues and behaviors devoid of even a minimum of rationality. It assaults logic, affronts intelligence, and is unacceptable for being so recurrently illogical and going against all the most basic rational parameters. It tears apart, from top to bottom, concepts related to character and integrity. In turn, the villains are devoid of intelligence, lacking connection and logic within the narrative of the villains' core. They devise childish plans, a thousand failed schemes, a thousand ambushes, and dozens of soldiers to kill a single Xiao Huan who, even dying, defeats them all. These plans are unconvincing, you watch the fights and ambushes yawning, with zero emotion.

We faced a drama that uses and abuses tropes. Nothing surprises you, you can anticipate every minute...

Great actors, like RJL and PXR, were totally underutilized in poorly structured, even somewhat caricatured, characters. I'll watch until the end. This is the support we can give them, after all, they have already done quality work that is etched in our memory.
