I don't really see any LOGICAL stopping point except for the time skip (and that'll have a SE if it ends there.)

If they want to stop at the realisation of love (and force the parents into being supportive, which is not in the story), then it can have a HEA and that's that, but it'll be a waste of an extraordinary love story.

If they follow the story... Ack, at this point in time I'm getting really frustrated, just as I wanted to enjoy it as it goes. *sigh*

About 1/5th of the story remaining after the time skip (94-112). That'll be a short season, if it goes like that, or they could fluff it out a bit, LOL. But IMHO there's no way they put in half the book in the remaining 6 eps from this season, if they make it seasonal, and also I can't see how they can split it so that it does have a meaningful end (in case s2 doesn't happen) and still not reaching the time skip...

In the novel they're 16, but yeah, in the drama they can change a few details.

It wasn't SW's b-day, I think it was Gao TianYang (maybe) - he's the one who is in the row in front of SW in school, LOL.

The novel is very much HEA. But if it ends in S1 then they'd have to get an original script (I don't mind at all, as long as MuSuLi has a say in it in some form) OR they end it at the time skip and the HEA comes in S2. It'll be a shorter season too, if that's the dividing point, because only a third of the story comes after.

Chapter-wise, we're 35 in from 112 by the end of ep6, so only a third in... (edited because math isn't happening LOL).

They're 16, they don't know themselves what's in their minds, LOL. All hard drive space is taken by schoolwork, RAM is using up some borrowed space to focus on food and maybe 1% goes to guessing their own feelings and maybe the occasional passional meltdown LOL.

IMHO, it's extremely clear JT is laser-focusing on SW lately, like he can't let him get out of his sight. And SW is pretty conscious at times of it.

For anyone who remembers the story of Leader the cat and JT's obsession with it (AND the reasons for THAT), it's painfully obvious too how and why he's choosing SW as his new home beacon.

Both come from dysfunctional families, one has lived on the streets, the other one has a very shady past, their own relationship starts out as pretty functional (sex in exchange for shelter and sustenance) and ends up as a lot more, there will be violence and neither is really likable (though both are pitiable.)

There's a HEA for the manga, if you want to know but they can go either way with the adaptation. IMHO 8 eps won't be enough to go through all chapters of the manga, but who knows.

They're not saying it's a Furuba adaptation outright either. So maybe it'll have some flavour of it, anyway? :D

It won't be a cliffhanger if they end season 1 at the separation. It'll be a sad ending and that's that, if they never make a second season.

But the story is NOT about them ending up separated, it's about love against real life hurdles. It'll be a total disappointment if they always intended to have two seasons and never let on until the first part was halfway done.

I am definitely not happy right now if this is confirmed.

I also want it wrapped up in one season, because there's no certainty of a second season and even it they make it, it'll take time.

So yeah, kind of not happy with it ATM.

They're hate-bombing it. Don't mind them. Sometimes cnets go into hive-mind moods and they go on until they get bored. Something new will come up and catch the haters' attention soon enough.

Face blindness comes in varying degrees. Diagnosed prosopagnosia is usually quite severe, but there are ways to cope with usual face-blindness and most of the time people don't even realise they have it.

LOL, my own version of face blindness isn't related to instant recog, but to long-term memory of faces I've seen and associating them with voices and names in real life. Nobody would call me as a witness for anything I've seen, I am unable to remember any kind of facial features that would identify someone, hahaha~

I am kind of bummed by the news that there MIGHT be a second season. 1, because that means they won't complete the story in 12 eps and it's very probably they'll end it at the separation and time skip and 2. because who knows if and when a second season will be produced to complete the story.

I want a complete dramatisation, not pieces of it...

So this ep shows JT being easily swayed through silent treatment, LOL.

Bernoulli's Principle in the drama goes like - when forced to go through a narrow strait (like being forced to live together), things carried by fluids in motion will stick pretty close to each other and ride fast. But when the channel is larger (like them choosing to live apart), things riding fluids will slowly drift back to their original distance and move slower.

They're not going to be in highschool throughout the whole story, but most of the story does take place in highschool.

The OST is hitting strong and it's put me in a blue mood. I hope they release all the songs ASAP.

This ep, Sheng Wang's eyes were everything.

He was shown he was doing civilian-aid-to-the-police stuff but I thought it was not his official job, just something he did because he has civic spirit, LOL.

I don't think he worked undercover at that shop... Maybe he used to be a police (something) but now he's not.

So that guy in the mysterious car could be

1. the hidden mentor wanting another catspaw for some reason or
2. his actual dad the Chairman wanting a catspaw to try out his wife's patience.

Or maybe 3. someone there in some other official mission, like telling him he inherited half of Joseon's lost gold or something, LOL.

I'll take anything as long as he's not the Chairman's affair bastard son. Here's hoping he's HaJun's lost little brother or something, LOL.
