I was already ROFL at that point. There are precious comedic moments throughout the series, I hope they continue even through the heartbreak.

Who says he's a psychopath? This era's TTJ is a child who grew up unloved and abused, with some very basic (and negative) human interraction, punished for existing when he didn't ever ask for existence. The future one is his reborn, reincarnated Devil God persona, not this time's TTJ.

So I very much understand LSS pretending he IS the one she came to destroy, because otherwise she wouldn't be able to do it (she couldn't even torture him as she was taking over YXW's character), but it still doesn't make it right. Which will probably lead to her changing the original intention and finding a different way to deal with the Devil Bone.

Yeah well, not everyday-means-everyday level, but same energy :P

RunYu is just misunderstood and not a villain. I'll die on this fence (while wielding two twin fiery swords and wearing a bad-ass black armour LOL).

Sometime in the far, far future, we'll (probably) get Immortality, based on the novel The Husky and his White Cat Shizun (nicknamed 2ha, or hyx). It's already filmed (with amazing main cast actors!) and probably already past post-production, but it's not released yet. If that one comes, it should be at least as good as TU.

If there's a good fantasy danmei to wait upon, that is the one.

You dropped it a week ago and still feel the need to come comment on it. I guess it IS still dwelling somewhere in your mind after all.

We each like what we like and dislike what we dislike. If you want to go pick a rating and decide watching a drama or movie based only on the ratings given by other people, you'll probably be disappointed more than satisfied most of the time.

Want some more TTEOTM ratings? 8.9 on MDL (with some down-raters who didn't even watch it but rated based on actor biases and/or in order to keep other dramas in focus), 9.6 on viki, 9 on imdb, 9.8 on google. 8 days first on datawin, broke 2.5 four times already. And it's only halfway done.

For myself, I don't care what other people think. I'll watch and decide for myself. But I do find it funny some people take time out of their precious day just to come be negative on things they assert they do not care about in the least. Yeah, sure :D

Now he has the money, he can finally doll up :D

YBC stole XL's love threads, she doesn't love anyone but herself. I'd be a wonder to see them actually click together, since the character is so duplicitous. I quite like it that they (the actors) don't act as if they're actually closer, because they are not.

On the other hand, I quite liked Deng Wei's acting this episode - he looked tired, haggard, heartbroken, in despair. Yes, that was good. Too bad he's probably going to exit the stage on the left, pursued by a bear, soon-ish :D

This drama is a Chinese version of a story about inventing a time-travel device, going back in time and deciding to kill young Hitler... What will it change? Is it moral to kill an (yet) innocent man? Will it stop the destruction we're blaming him for in history?

But it's a love story too - nobody's in love with Hitler so the choice would probably be much easier in such a situation. My problem with LSS's choice is the betrayal of trust...

Because I'm obsessed with CWN LOL and if I only could pick one danmei role for LYX to play... it would be CWN. He has just the right grace and fragility and hidden strength to best show who CWN is. I am SO glad for whoever made the casting choices in 2ha - LYX and CFY are just picture perfect for those roles.

I just hope they DO release that drama, though I do fear they very much whitewashed it... (I mean, can you imagine the production including ANY of the actual risky scenes?!) But even as a not-really-danmei drama, the story itself will be worth it. And CWN and TXJ both onscreen at the same time... ooooooh!

Now I do hope they won't release it IMMEDIATELY after TTEOTM, because I want 2ha to make the strongest impact it can, and it has a chance to be the best danmei ever... Here's hoping.

It really did look like the God-Slaying Crossbow the ancient Devil God was using, I guess TTJ still remembers stuff from the dream, LOL.

HE didn't, though. It was the Devil God. And he's NOT the Devil God (yet).

And she's playing with his emotions, making him believe she's in love with him, this, a man who NEVER had anyone on his corner, never had someone to trust, never been loved before.

It's the worst betrayal ever.

I get it, she's trying to stop a catastrophe (since the Devil God didn't just kill her family, he will kill EVERYbody), but still... this person she's lying to isn't the killer.

Then again, we'll just have to wait and see.

Nah, he's perfect for Chu WanNing, so glad they had him play WanNing of the Night Sky instead :D And if they ever release it, it's going to be FIRE! Chen FeiYu also fits MoRan perfectly, this would be a match made in heaven *hearteyes*

All the men in this drama end up betrayed by their women.

TTJ and YXW obviously, but also YBC pretending to care for Xiao Lin while she's calculating his worth in saving HER...

I now wonder how the fox will end up betraying General Ye, according to the rules of this story if she doesn't it'll be a wonder.

I loved how TTJ gave Xiao Lin more than one chance - before the fight, after the fight... but XL can't just give it up by himself since he's caught in the filial relationship with his father. Which father has absolutely zero qualms into asking for YBC to the capitol to hold pretty much as a hostage against XL betraying him. He thinks he's sooo subtle.

The poor crow, LOL - four flights in one day, and then TTJ going - WHY is she killing my crow?! Then almost immediately, WHY isn't she killing my crow and sending more letters? :D

They're like dumb and dumber or love.

I was very pleased with an ep on Sunday, but now there's only one ep on Monday I'm not so sure any more T_T

I was afraid they were done with epic fight scenes, so glad they proved me wrong!

This drama should come with a warning LOL - no crows were harmed in the making of this series. We don't guarantee anything for geese :D

Edit: wait, now that I think about it... YXW slayed a demonic crow trying to "protect" TTJ from them (not that he needed it). And then he absorbed them all LOL.

I guess no animal (demonic or not) is safe from a (maybe) Devil God's wrath.
