What are you talking about? Before airing date, it was already edited down to 55-minutes long eps, a total of 40 eps. They're not cutting it now to shorten it.

Also, most full-length dramas have 45-min long eps, including op and ed. TTEOTM has 55-min long eps with op-ed, that is about 50-min content each ep. So even if they did edit it down a bit, it's not really all that much.

The other option would've been to split it into two seasons, like some xianxia big IPs already did. It's not really cool that way either - imagine being left off riiight between major events and having to wait for a few months at least before you can see the rest.

I am content with what they're doing right now. If they give it a proper ending, I don't mind it doesn't have many more eps.

TBH it looks like they split the awards pretty evenly between nominees, though I'm sure they had their reasons to decide the winners. But from the outside, it looks like there were lots of safe choices.

It's a fanmade trailer too, LOL, no spoilers. There are official ones, very spoilery particularly if you have any idea what it is about so don't watch those :D

The OST is also amazing, been on my playlist for 4 years now. I hope you'll come to love WWX as we all do :) (BTW it starts with WWX dying LOL. Don't sweat it. He doesn't stay dead for too long :D)

Do yourself a favour - put some time aside for this one. It's very much worth it. And the danmei part isn't even the main thing (they always censor danmei because well. Censorship is rife.)

That channel had posted an even more complete BGM list of TTEOTM but now it's gone, they probably got a c/right strike. So yes there are more (not all of them) but there are some out already.

He didn't say they had to take him in as a disciple, just that something ominous was about to happen by that river's edge LOL. Maybe he wanted them to kill off TTJ :D

Immortal ZhaoYou is the new master of TTJ/CJM. The one who passed away is Pang YiZhi, and he left behind a "cloud spell", LOL, an AI-replica-like of himself that people from his sect can wake up and get prophecies from.

Also, the Nether World Gate only opens each 500 years, so TTJ's time there was already running out, so PYZ could have just prepared in advance for it. I have this idea that he could've set it up, too, because NBY just "remembered" his tribe could open that Gate out of the blue. Maybe PYZ wanted to send TTJ there to cool down for a bit and give him time to prepare the immortal sects' revival or something and put NBY up for it.

There are two timelines. In the first (original) one, the immortal sects got wiped out by the Devil God and LSS went back to the past to stop TTJ from becoming DG, which she did.

From that moment on, time moved differently. This timeline's LSS had to undergo a lightning tribulation to further her cultivation - it's a staple of immortality cultivation, btw, in order to become gods for example - but didn't for some reason, so she was punished to go into seclusion for ten years. Everybody was surprised to see "her" come back because she wasn't supposed to survive it. THIS LSS is the original LSS though, who came back through time to the present reality so she remembers the original situation, TTJ and how she dealt with him, AND who all these immortal sects people are.

So the time got split for a paradox then re-merged.

The guy with a moon on his cheek is not a sect guy, he's a YiYue tribesman who was / is the leader of the Moonshadow Guards that the tribe gave to TTJ as emperor. He has no magic of his own, but the evil minions found him anyway and decided to keep him alive to use him in the future - I guess we'll be seeing him again soon.

YQY got the fox demon's powers that PR gave him to save him from dying, so he's now a male fox-demon... kind of. Anyway, he has a really long lifespan, if he isn't immortal himself. He's masking himself so that people don't realize the emperor is the same for 5 centuries.
