LuoYunxi: I feel that Ming Ye lacks of courage, he missed out on a good wife. If only he has more courage, more…
(paraphrasing) LYX: Ming Ye is a wuss, therefore Tantai Jin needs to step up his game. See, that's why it's better to be a devil, at least you don't get goody-two-shoes hangups.
The fandom: *taking notes furiously*
Also the fandom: But MY/TTJ/CJM are all soooo pretty. And fragile. We need to cuddle them all.
Censored danmei: Word of Honor, The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty, Guardian, Killer and Healer (nHE warning), Advance Bravely
Strong bromance (not romantic, though there's still hope): The Devil Judge, Under the Skin, A League of Nobleman
Hetero xianxia: Ashes of Love, Love and Redemption
Currently airing phenomenon: Till the End of the Moon (almost halfway through, this is going to be a big one; feat. Luo YunXi, who's going to be CWN in Immortality/2ha).
Future danmei dramas to watch for: Immortality (2ha), Eternal Faith (TGCF live action), Dreamcatcher (Seizing Dreams), Winner is King.
I have great hopes for Immortality, in the very far future they decide to release it.
You still have oxygen how disgusting 🤮 poor of your mother, giving birth to you...
Seriously, though, block both of them and leave it at that. One of them is a 16-year old girl, she doesn't know any better, the other one seems as a homophobe random person. I hope they both grow out of it, but it's their lives and I don't have to concern myself with other people's shortcomings.
It's more awful that MDL admins don't take any measures with the comments, but honestly, it's not that surprising, given past treatment to TU fandom on this site. Reporting the comments is the only thing we can do without escalating and giving them an excuse to punish fans who did nothing wrong.
Let them be, and if their karma is good they'll eventually become better persons. Keeping fingers crossed.
She went completely evil at a snap - is it because she devoured the essence of her clansmen and couldn't retrieve…
She absorbed the energy of her clanspeople. I think that's why she knows she can't get them back with the crystal, and his tries and failures would further annoy her. I don't think she doesn't love him any more, it wouldn't go away so fast, she's just hurting a lot and maddened by the demonic energy.
MY is sitting on his high horse as a God of War. He thought he knows better. It had never occurred to him that…
This is a flood dragon who cultivated into divinity and then became a God of War who occupies all his time with the never ending war with the Devil God. He didn't have any TIME to learn how women work.
Sang Jiu is a naive clam fairy who never left Mohe River before going to marry her one-sided crush on the Divine Realm and who was spoiled by every one in her tribe. She doesn't know any better, she's the clueless farm girl going to the big city, unaware of the undercurrents and plots.
They're both prime material to get swindled and fooled by villains who have a lot of spare time to plot and devise ways to tear them apart.
As for trying to save her from his (almost) certain death - he would have died if she didn't go get him, so he wasn't mistaken in trying to leave her off it all; and he had reason to believe she didn't want or need him, either (I mean, Tian Huan was with him since before he became a god, he couldn't expect her to go crazy so fast). And then things were pretty awkward with misunderstandings between them, it's hard to just open up and spill all the secrets (as neither of them did before when the times were good anyway).
And then again, this IS a xianxia drama. This is how things go usually. If there was no misunderstanding, half the novels and dramas would be gone LOL.
Oh so the dark times are coming... I really appreciated the black dress though. And I know that's the usual way…
She went completely evil at a snap - is it because she devoured the essence of her clansmen and couldn't retrieve them even if she were to use that crystal? But breaking it after Ming Ye poured most of his divine essence into purifying it for the purpose was just cruel... Does he even have much power left? It'll take a bit of a stronger wind to wipe him out, at this pace.
I guess we'll have the ending of the dream tomorrow and on Monday we're back to TTJ and LSS. Three whole days!!! Life so unfair :(
Oh so the dark times are coming... I really appreciated the black dress though. And I know that's the usual way it goes in xianxia... but she could've just listened to him when he came explaining :(
You can watch few more episodes if u have urge to do that, maybe you will get all answersOtherwise it is fine…
She's an anti. She's watching and rating high only dramas of a certain actor who's drama was a big success a few months ago, check her profile. She's not the first and won't be the last come to diss this one, sadly.
I think that they are going to remember everything after the dream.. at least from the book they did...
I'm going to bet the ONLY thing that's going to seem the most important to LSS is that the Devil God had Tantai Jin's face. Therefore she'll decide he needs to die (once the bone is out).
She always seems to not see the forest for the trees...
ok this plot is strange, i dont care if i offend people....they are really over complicating this story.... what…
TTJ has the Devil Bone that the original Devil God managed to put into him - someone said the ODG asked for a favour from the YiYue tribe (TTJ's mother's tribe) to get him a child as a sacrifice in order for him to be reborn, so I guess TTJ is it. TTJ died 500 years back and that triggers the Devil Bone into resurrecting the ODG.
So in the present, Li SuSu is sent back to then in order to STOP TTJ from dying before the Devil Bone is destroyed. That's the main timeline and plot.
But then they're all caught in the dragon's dream and re-enact THAT epic war from ten thousand years back when the ODG was actually defeated and robbed of his Devil Bone. The ODG has TTJ's face because that's his face, and TTJ is his "vessel" to resurrect in.
So they're all three different characters (Ming Ye doesn't necessarily look like TTJ, it's just that since they're trapped in the dream, each one got relegated a chara to "play" so TTJ ended up as MY).
Hell hath no fury... I guess she'll get hers, but at what cost?...
I mean, she's killing off whole clans for the sake of her own obsession, but SHE's a goddess so the stupid celestial soldiers obey her. That's sane /not.
The fight with the Devil God was amazing - I can't help but think of the budget, LOL. I can see so many money signs on the screen with all those absolutely great special effects :D (Also, Ming Ye's god figure/spiritual form is so beautiful!)
The rescue-and-healing phase was cute, NGL. I was pretty certain he'd regain his sight before she realized, but then Tian Huan had to come wreck everything... and he went all the way to taking out his heart-shield scale. I bet that's where Sang Jiu manages to hit him with her bow and arrow because that's how it usually goes.
I am pretty ready to go back to demonic suffering Tantai Jin though, can we get there sooner please?
This is the second time it's happened, and it's pretty much similar to the first time, but can we please stop…
I would, if it didn't sound so fake. Every time there's a risky sex scene ANYWHERE in all kinds of dramas, there's this chorus of "oh noes it's rape!" as if anyone actually cared (which I very much doubt many of them actually do or even understand the context).
But it's okay for mental torture, physical torture, child deaths, maiming, prostitution, war, cannon-fodder random deaths and so on and so forth, to occur on screen, and the drama is still the best there ever was. The second there's no-consensual sex, then the chamber starts echoing.
We're not all Puritans and prudes, and also not liking echo chambers doesn't make anyone a non-emphatic a**hole.
I've said what I've had to say, I'll stop here. Fighting echo chambers is useless.
I made an account just to say this. All of you defending someone drugging someone else in order to have sex are…
Lady, real life is real life, fiction is fiction. Learn the difference.
Let's have less of the holier-than-thou attitudes instead, and start admitting things like these happen a lot in real life, and having them happen in fiction is not the end of the world. Nobody's advising for anyone to do the same in real life, or condoning what the FICTIONAL CHARACTER did, FGS.
If you're coming from a place of hurt yourself, then you have all our sympathies and well-wishing. But don't come pontificating for the sake of internet clout. It's became stale already.
I loved the MY&SJ love progress, I guess it'll be over next episode now... The dream is ongoing, the thread just…
LinkedIn :D I know it's an auto-correct thing, but it's also hilarious :D
I haven't read the novel yet, the SL TL isn't done and the MTL is atrocious, so I don't know about any nails (yet). But the story moves pretty well so far, for me.
This is the second time it's happened, and it's pretty much similar to the first time, but can we please stop…
The constant 24x7 news cycle does more harm than any drama or fictional character's actions ever will, in terms of inspiring copy-cats and suggestions given to unstable people. Nobody's clamouring for censorship of the news though - because it's reality. The fact we're clamouring to censor each and every fictional plot is pretending to care where it doesn't have any impact - unless we LET it.
Anyone who can't tell fiction from reality (or pretends that fiction and reality are the same) has no business imposing pretend revulsion to anything not culturally acceptable on people who CAN separe the two.
The actual POINT of fiction is to show the difference between good and evil and give us an escape from the cruelty of life. Yelling "NO!" each time anything unsavoury happens in fiction is pretending to be more Catholic than the Pope and IMHO is used too much for creating Internet echo chambers.
Yes, no-consent, violence, doing anything evil, etc, is BAD and everybody (hopefully) agrees on it. But it's also FICTION in this case, and not presented as desirable behaviour. So let's move on.

/stop it, they're all already dead.

Or so I hope...

Best not to engage.

Did I make it too confusing? :D
