You watched and rated a 10 both Crash Course in Romance (11 years age difference, FL older) and She and Her Perfect Husband (8 years age difference, FL is older), not to mention Empress Ki (11 years difference, also FL older).

LYX and BL age difference is 6 years, shorter than any of the above, and they fit their roles. What is the problem exactly, LOL? At least don't be so obvious in your biases :D

Saying things like "the drama sucks because LYX is too thin" (for example) is not calling out imperfections, it's nitpicking and no, I haven't seen many people calling it a masterpiece, just that it's very entertaining. We are all watching it to be entertained, so..,

Ming Ye: doesn't even recognize love until too late to save his lover, spends all his time to fight devils, dies alone, in pain, tormented for ten thousand years.

Fans: That's SO romantic! (though he's an idiot for doing it).

TTJ: That's SO stupid!! Better become the mightiest person around so that I get to do whatever I want AND protect anyone I might love, if it happens - oh, is that the Devil God? Okay then, he's my role model, bring it on.

Come to think of it, TTJ and his guard both can talk to animals, what stopped them from telling the geese off, LOL? Maybe they were feeling peckish anyway and just wanted a good reason to kill some birds! :D

I don't mind it, if what they say is true. But then, I don't go out of my way to entertain those criticisms for the sake of them "being right". I like what I like and don't mind it if other people like what they like. As long as we don't cross paths and nobody's imposing their opinions on anyone else, it's all cool with me.

Having a platform and an audience that was attracted by former level-headedness and using it to create changes in currents is what really makes me mad though. And from actual criticism that wasn't really hinting at negativity (putting down any shortcomings in a drama or movie as being the viewers' raw taste and lack of knowledge on the "proper" way to do those things, no matter if the drama is most worth watching anyway, for example), most YTers or influencers in general went to anything that creates buzz, clicks, more page visits etc - if they're in it for the money, then they don't need to pretend to be unbiased and level-headed any more.

I used to watch some of her clips, then I realised how biased she is and stopped doing it. I'll trust my own preferences and taste in dramas before anyone else's anyway, and I don't need negativity thrown in under the guise of "constructive criticism", when it's blatantly putting down someone's honest work and at times, it's just a matter of her taste vs. a lot of other people's she disagrees with (which is her right, but then it's also those people's right to ignore her opinion in turn). Some YTers forgot why they started their channels and now live for generating controversial clicks and I won't give it to them any more.

There, I've said it.

She's supposed to be grieving for the family and sect she's going to SAVE by killing TTJ after she removes the bone? It's not over yet, why would she grieve?!

If she's sucessful, then the Devil God won't come and nobody will die in the future, 500 years later. On the other hand, the one she's dealing with right now is NOT the Devil God but his human vessel who is not yet devilized. What should she act like?! She already tried torturing him and discovered she doesn't have the heart for it, and then she also learned how he was brought up, and so she doesn't really YET have a reason to deeply hate THIS human who isn't her enemy.

Seriously, a better drama is one that doesn't offer all answers or touches all the possibilities, but implies what they would be. Or what MIGHT have been...

I just hope the script remains on course til the end.

A HEA will make the drama amazing. A sad ending will make it unforgettable. All the great romances are tragedies.

That being said, I want a HEA for the fragile and tortured TTJ. (Well, he USED to be).

So extract 32 and divide the rest by 1.8... that means 32,2 Celsius?! You're about to boil over there... OMG. I get heat sick at 23-25C, LOL. (We get up to 43C in the height of summer over here but rarely, I'm just about dying in those days, but now it's a VERY nice 16C outside - that's about 61 in freedom units and I'm sleeveless in the shade LOL.)

I really need to check up on Finland or Iceland's immigration policies, :D, that's where the living will be at in the next decades for someone like me :D

Which begs the question... What Devil Bone does YBC have, so that the Devil God can contact her after she's out of the dream?!

Though I'll give it to her - she's the only one (of two, so far) persons who had contact with the Devil God who told him to go get rekt, she doesn't need him, 'cause she's out only for herself.

I'd wish that attitude on TTJ, seriously.

The site was down for a while right after TTEOTM finished airing, dunno if it was up before it started, LOL.

So I thought - but it turns out they try to keep the sets as cold as possible (unless it's outside obviously) because 1. it helps with wintery scenes (that's not actual snow, you know) and 2. it helps actors and actresses to wear all those layers of clothing AND they look paler (aesthetics...)

It used to just KILL me to see a winter scene and they had ALL the doors and windows wide open - NiF comes to mind (where MCS is freaking cold all the time, nobody closes the damn door!!)

There are the other cases though, when they still have all those layered clothing and whatnot but it's out in the open and once the shot is taken it's a rush to the industrial cold-air conducts LOL (TU suffered from that, particularly someone who HAD to wear basically black for half the series LOL).

I hate heat though, I'd be happy as a clam (ha!) in a cold, cold climate.

Wait wait wait oh sh!t, I only now got it - it wasn't MY who cried that tear, it was already TTJ! That's why it's a Soul-Killer Tear! Oh NOES!!

For the last two weeks (and this one), it's 6 eps per week in total: 2 each Mon-Tue, 1 each Wed-Thur.

And yes, 4 days (almost) to the next 2 eps. We live to sufer *sigh*

He's thinking SO hard on what happened that night between SJ and MY, and keeps looking over at YXW, I guess he's starting to regret he didn't use his chance when YXW first drugged him and they had the affair that lead to their forced marriage LOL.

He spent all his divine power to create two artifacts, one of which Sang Jiu carelessly destroyed and the second never got used (maybe they'll use it in the current timeline). Then he took the lightning tribulation in place of Sang Jiu, and lost whatever was left. The only thing he had left he made into the Bo'Re realm dream dragon to wait for someone to get the prophecy/warning in the future.

And we're back to our regular broadcast.

IMHO, this was the worst edited ep so far (I hope it remains the only one...)

So, to recap:

LSS: Yay, I got my weapons, coming closer to comitting murder, yipee!

YBC: Looking out for No. 1 (could her chara become even worse that it was before?!)

They're NOT reincarnations. The current timeline charas got dragged into the dragon's dream and each took a role re-acting the past. There is NO direct link between any of the past charas and this time's crew, EXCEPT for the original Devil God, who will get reincarnated into TTJ once TTJ dies.

MY, SJ and all the rest are supposed to have different faces than TTJ, LSS, etc. But it looks better (and underlines the fact they're still caught in the dream) to see them as those past people/gods/demons.

So - the Devil God's face SHOULD be TTJ's face. The DG will get reincarnated in TTJ once TTJ dies, so they naturally would look the same. Someone said the Devil God asked the YiYue Tribe specifically for a sacrificial child so he could reincarnate, it's not random. (This based on their comment, I haven't read the novel yet).

On the other hand, Ming Ye DOESN'T have TTJ's face and just looks like him because the current timeline's people got into the dream and each took a role replaying the past. TTJ ended up re-acting MY.
