I personally like her acting. Just watched her in city of streamers and she did well. it’s the ML who can’t act. He destroyed princess silver for me.

I can answer about how I see it. Since the start she interjected herself in his issues without an awareness nor understanding to what’s going on. He was punishing the guys who wanted to insult the ladies in his opera house, yet she took it as he is bullying them. For the start of the drama, that was ok but since then she keeps repeating the same things. The guy almost died for her and to save her and her father but she kept her attitude. It’s like her liking to him is conditional and not real. When she knew he did something for her, she feels love. When there is a misunderstanding, she acts totally opposite of a woman in love. She lives in her own bubble benefiting for the riches of the family and yet acts as she despise that wealth and the family. She is supposed to be smart, but yet cannot think why women in her society need an education and needed the ML to explain that too. If it wasn’t for the ml she and her father would have been dead. Now to explain my opinion of the ML. I personally don’t think he is perfect. Not at all. He has a lot of issues. But he was able to work them a lot better then the fl. maybe it has to do with the writing. But ya the fl is very unlikable to me and that’s coming from someone who usually dislike ML in cdramas.

When I usually watch cdrama, I usually despise the toxic ML and there are many of them in cdramas. Some people say that the ML is toxic here too. But I honestly don’t see it. Since the start, the FL and without any understanding nor knowledge of the situation judged the ML and has been doing the same so far. She reminds me of the guy who thought himself so righteous in The Legends drama for him to end up being the bad guy. The FL thinks herself as good and righteous person when everything she does is the total opposite. She is just a judgmental person with no morals really. The drama was not able to let me see any goodness in her not to like or sympathy with her. In all honesty, she should be the one to die in the end and the ML moves on and find someone worthy of him, that trust his, support him etc… since the start he has been doing so much for the FL and she never appreciated any of it. She even couldn’t think of real reason why girls need to get education and the ML had even to educate her about that. She is one of those people living in a bubble and thinks she is smart when she is not.

R the trio back together? That’s great. It was so disappointing seeing what happened to them. Yes he is so smart and cunning. He was even able to figure out that the fl was planning to leave with the sml and sent him away. So smart!

Rating was 9 yesterday and it’s down to 8.1. It’s still early for rating really especially negative ones. Anyway, does anyone know if the original novel is translated? Where can it be read?

I suggest you check love in flames of war. So far it’s good and I would say a lot more realistic than this one.
