I preferred the second lead more than the main male lead almost throughout this drama. He only made one mistake and that was not believing the FL when it came to one of his friends. Both male leads were PERFECT. I just HATED the FL for dragging both of them along and not being able to choose.
I get that they didn't end up together. But I wanted to at least SEE who Hee do ended up with, her married life, her moving on and having a kid and everything. The last episode just skipped over all that, she was suddenly married and at that point she already had her daughter but they don't even mention her daughter.

I regret starting this one at all. What bothered me wasn't the incest part (the only interesting thing about this drama was the incest part making it forbidden) I just did not think the ML would be such an a****** and I CRINGED throughout this movie. So they cheated on each other, technically the ML only cheated on her. He pressured her to be with him and I don't even think the FL liked him the way he did her, at least at the start. He then cheated on her and broke up with her through the other girl saying he was dating her to the FL, which he was by the way. H was such a prick. The ML and FL are twins, but the FL seemed like a child compared to the ML, but when it came to knowing right and wrong, I think she knew a lot better.
My expectations were way too high for this drama and I put of watching it for a long time. I just finished it but I was planning to watch it since news of the show came out. My high expectations ruined my experience of this show. It was not as good as I expected, an 8/10 overall.
There were two things i really did NOT want to happen in this drama: 1) King's guard Ga On to die 2) SFL's to be annoying or evil, especially Ha Kyung. And I am so HAPPY that neither happened.
Out of all the guys, Ga On was the one who had me HOOKED, did not know he was a main lead until after finishing the drama, he seemed like support in the first several episodes.
I LOVED Ha Kyung, especially at the end. She was so damn SWEET, and I loved her feelings for the King, even after knowing who the King actually was, she didn't resent her one bit and, I think still thought of the King in the same way (more or less).
This drama really DRAGGED and for no reason. The plot got annoying and repetitive and the FL kept going back and forth with her decisions. I didn't hate anyone more than I hated the SFL and skipped almost all her scenes. Loved the ML and LOVED all the actors.
I had this weird thought that maybe, just maybe it would have a twist & Jack would be our real world game developer…
The theory makes sense since Jack sort of had control over the game. I thought so too until we saw flashbacks of the day of the accident. We saw her go into the restaurant and the side profile of her blind date (who was the modern day ML in glasses). Gave up hope after that.
Does The Princess Wei Young have a happy ending? I thought The Princess Wei Young had a sad ending. I accidentally saw a spoiler of the ending and thought it was a sad one where the leads don't end up together, that's why I couldn't finish it.
A cast full of baby faces. Especially for historical dramas, since they tend to be more serious, I can't watch it when the leads look like teenagers when their characters are not.
Watched 10 episodes and then skipped to the last. I wouldn't say it was boring, the plot was getting annoying and I skipped because I knew they will make the SFL (the sister) evil.
