Two of my favourite actors as the leads, couldn't imagine Yang Yang and Zhao Lusi together as leads in a drama until I saw the trailer for this. Does anyone know when it's going to be released?
The script was okay other than just about all of Dylan's lines. ALL his lines were just CRINGE. The dubbing of this movie did not bother me, I'm use to it, thought it would bother me since it's Dylan. It did not. But most of his lines were just 😖.
I didn't realise she was so young. She looks it, yes. But I know her from so many dramas that are several years old, and she played a lot of main roles.
If I didn't read the tag that it was historical, I really wouldn't have guessed from the drama. Though it does explain a lot of the sexism, I just thought it was because it was Thai that it was so sexist.
Mo Yan had terrible taste in people. His ex was cheated on him and then died (he didn't know she cheated on him). He then dated Zhong Zhen because she reminded him of his ex about was disgusted by her when she cheated on him. He then talks about his ex like she was a saint in comparison when in fact she was probably exactly like Zhong Zhen. His story was ironic AF.
How is this drama so LONG yet so short. I'm on episode 10 and I've been skipping through the episodes since episode 1, but it feels like I've watched 20 full episodes already.
The plot twist made it so much better. I couldn't really believe the idea that A-Kin was anything hut an AI since it was more sci-fi than fantasy, but that plot twist really did it for me.
Trying to rewatch this show (after apparently 9 months) and can't find episode 5. Does anyone know where I can watch episode 5? I can find all the other episode, but episode 5 is shown as part of an earlier episode.
I LOVED him on Skip Beat! He was my favourite character, In the sense that I loved hating his character. His screen time was everything, too bad he had such little screen time and the drama had a really bad open ending. His character was really starting to develop at the end.
I loved this drama and the ending was good and expected (as much as I hate to admit), but there were a few loose ends, REALLY BIG ones. Like what was with the ML's biological mothers storyline, they were going somewhere with it, and then it just stopped. And the storyline where the ML was insistent to go back to the North (since episode 1 to almost the end) to protect his sister, why did he suddenly change his mind, was his sister safe, he had to go hack to keep her safe. There were so more loose ends where a lot of the supporting characters were concerned.
Didn't think I'd like this drama as much as I did. Not a fan of the main actress, don't like her acting and dropped some of her dramas in the past because of it. Watched this for Yang Yang and Vin Zhang. I loved the main couple, but after they got together at episode 10, there wasn't really any drama with them, which i liked but I preferred Hao Mei and KO. I don't really watch BL's but this drama made me ship these two characters so bad and I hated that they weren't even in the last two episodes. I NEEDED a time jump of them two living together as roomates and acting like a couple, as they did since their FIRST meeting.
At first I did not recognise him from his profile picture. I've seen several of his dramas and still didn't recognise him. I don't like his profile picture at all.
I really wanted her to end up with Lai Shun, and she was for almost all of the drama, but the last episode ruined it. I did not want her to end up with Man Cho, preferred them better as sinlings.
This was my first Hong Kong drama. I think they were speaking Cantonese maybe, since that's one of their official languages, a language I've never heard before. My point is, the episodes weren't fully subbed, a lot of the lines were missing so I didn't get some of the plot and had no clue what they were saying a lot of the time.
LOVED Ting Hao in season 1, but the love triangle this season ANNOYED me. Ting Hao became obsessed and I was relieved when I thought he didn't care for Bai Cao anymore after his sisters accident. But he still did to the very end, though that did change from obsession to love again. I stopped shipping them together when he became obsessed at episode 13.
The dubbing of this movie did not bother me, I'm use to it, thought it would bother me since it's Dylan. It did not. But most of his lines were just 😖.
