Im just very upset were ruo bai was dead he did not even know how was bai cao being sad
Ruo Bai is alive, they don't really mention it, but he is the very important patient staying in the US and Leo Wu' characters said that he would come back, so I assume he is in a coma or something. I don't understand why everyone in the show acts like he is dead. Leo Wu and Ji Chang Wook's characters were the only ones who seemed to know for a fact that Rui Bai is alive.
I did not like the ML and the SML was not any better. The only decent guy in this drama is the FL's roomate/ male friend who is not her love interest in any way, ever. He also had the best romance story with the receptionist friend of the FL, a storyline I skipped through. This was just very dull. I did care for any of the characters and disliked at least half the main characters. The FL was just okay, shit taste in love interests though, her ex and ML and SML included.
I HATED this drama and hated a lot of the characters and the ending all the 'bad guys' especially the sister got. I LOVED Cheng Xiao in falling into your smile, but I HATED her characters in all the historical dramas I've seen her in.
It's happy ending.. I read some comment wonder about Xiao Yu ( FL) illness...I guess you guys missed the scene…
Thank You. I literally came to the comment section of this drama to find the answer to this. They don't really say that she's cured, but the wedding scene where they say that the FL and ML will live a long life together sort of said it. But I needed more clarification.
Love in the moonlight and 100 days my prince had happy endings and the male leads were both CP. I liked those…
I watched Love in the Moonlight, I liked it despite how unreal it was. But didn't he leave his position as Crown Prince and essentially run away, same in the Tale of Nokdu. That was the only way that were able to get a HEA.
I have yet to see a historical drama where the ML is a King or Crown Prince, that has a happy ending. Honestly I go into these knowing there will be a sad ending. But this one, it gave me hope for a few minutes at the very end that maybe it will be a somewhat happy ending. I wasn't that sad when the FL died, she seemed that she want to die after her son did in episode 16. And despite loving the King, it didn't seem like she was in love with the King or as crazy for him as he was for her. It was more like she gave up looking for more after watching the Crown prince's grandmother's funeral. She gave up on having a happy future, free to be herself from a very young age and at her death she seemed free and also very regretful of her choice to be with the ML. The ending reminded me a lot of Scarlet Heart, though I think Scarlet Heart had a much happier ending.
he waited 15 yrs for her... so obviously he was blinded by having her... he was way too happy that she is finally…
I was annoyed at him when he was annoyed at her and kicked her out of the palace for not being with him. She had good reason to not want to be with him, he should know from his own family history with his gandmother why no one would want to be romantically involved with a King. But he held his grudge for years and only forgave her after his mother talked him into forgiving her. Not that she did anything wrong.
do you know when Tan Xuan Ling and Mu Wan Qing will get together if you know pls tell me what episode it is i…
They officially get together at episode 17. They had amzingg chemistry from the very begining and seem to have something going on from the start. Yes it is really good, my favourite Chinese historical drama as of now.
By the time FL comes back from US, ML will probably become a grand dad. The man is no spring chicken.
It is because it is inolied in this Kdrama that the US will provide better opportunities for the characters, that i say this. This drama makes out out that she can't make anything of herself in Korea. By going to the US, at least in this drama, it suggests that she definitely makes it.

I say "make something of herself" because her family, her biological family is obsessed with this. Her dad didn't want her brother to be with the ML's sister at first because he is essentially leeching off of her. Her biological mum left her to go abroad and make something of herself. The SFL, the mum and the ML's teacher friend are all successful, whilst she's just going round and round thinking of leaving her job and being forced to stay, on and on and on.

Right now the FL is just a nanny, she doesn't have experience doing anything else, at least what we've seen so far. I kind of want to see her make something of herself instead of just being with the ML. Going to the US will mean that she gets to be with her mum for a while, who will help her make something of herself. On the show, the ML right now is just putting her on hold, expecting her to always be there whilst he deals with his romantic issues that she doesn't deserve to go through.
This was my first Kdrama. And I LOVED IT. It got me into Kdramas and Cdramas and Tdramas. Despite the horrible ending, it was definitely worth the watch.
