If you look at the poster, you will see that Tencent is not involved. TBW is produced by Youku, jointly with Croton Media. Croton Media is a company by itself, nothing to do with Tencent.

It should be. But, we need to bear in mind, YAMG is a modern drama. It was very easy for Tencent to ask Reba and Yang Yang to come back to do some photoshoot in modern clothes. But TBW is a historical drama. It would be meaningless to ask Allen and Reba to come back and do video shoots in modern clothes that would connect to the drama. And it would be far too difficult to ask them put on those ancient costumes again, just to do some videos.
More effective ways to promote would be to show some new stills, a new trailer or some of the OSTs. That is how most of the other producers do it, close to the time of airing. Especially now that Happy Camp ceased to operate.

It should be plain sailing from now till airing date. They are just putting the final touches to the editing, CGI, etc. We should get a first class product, once it airs. It has been a long wait since YAMG.
