If you are a binge watcher, you do not need to wait too long. In about 2 weeks, the series will end. You can then decide for yourself if this is popular and good. Right now, it is the most watched web series in China.
I MEAN HEY WHY DO THEY HAVE TO STRETCH THE ANGST FOR LIKE 6 EPISODES??? 😬
Oh dear! You must have found it very unpleasant to take those roller coaster rides at amusement parks. But knowing that they will be together so soon should calm your heart. This is unlike those ridiculous dramas where there are misunderstanding after misunderstanding throughout the entire series.
It is not a problem with me as long as it doesn't affect the flow of the drama. Check out the recent Cdramas even…
Oh no!! She did not dismount a horse to apply a lipstick.
It was applied prior to filming. But it was pretty red. And quite a few viewers came to the comment section to ask, what on earth is that red lipstick doing in the grasslands, where people lived in tents? For her to wear red lipsticks in a palace setting is still ok. People will not find it out of place.
Yes, Clarins was promoted in YAMG, among other products. I did not watch LD, so not sure. So, she likely was promoting Clarins lipsticks in TLB. The Clarins promotion was very well done in YAMG. It was just there in her bathroom. They didn't show her actually using it, so viewers did not feel it was too much of an ad, although we all know it is.
I distinctly remember in the novel that Yu Tu had rejected Jing Jing when she confessed after the gaming competition.…
Yeah! Good thing they made those separation very brief. Just 1-2 episodes and then they get together. Long separation is very painful and difficult to watch.
I really liked the gaming parts. It’s so well done. It brings the novel to life for me.!
The gaming competition was very very well set up. Lots of things were happening. Lots of interesting conversations going around. Even comments made by the audience were funny. Very nice CGI. But, some of those games scenes when they were at her apartment, some were not interesting. So, I just fast forwarded those scenes. Yet, I never felt like I missed anything. I think some scenes were truly not central to the plot, so missing them is not critical to understand and love this drama.

You might be surprised! I suspect, and this is only a suspicion, they can even do that in period dramas. I came from TLB. Not sure if you watched that drama. In some of the scenes at the grasslands, some viewers noted that Reba was wearing very bright red lipsticks. And people were wondering, why on earth would she do that? No one in that kind of place would wear a lipstick so red.
I did not watch Love Designer (where she also starred), commentators there mentioned that she was always having this extremely red lipstick. So, I suspect she may have an endorsement deal with some cosmetics companies, which says she must wear that red lipsticks for certain number of scenes in certain number of dramas.
And directors cannot do much about it. They likely know that she endorses those products, and just let her use them, and hope that it will not distract viewers too badly.
Wow this drama must be popular with a lot of "controversial" comments here. Imma bookmark this bec. Im a binge…

Very sad news for fans of Kris Wu and Yang Zi. Because they filmed an historical called the Golden Hairpin. Tencent…
He could be having duo citizenship. So, if he is found guilty, they will likely strip him of his Chinese citizenship, before shipping him to Canada. If he is guilty, he really is a piece of trash. Just pouncing on young and unsuspecting victims.

Yeah. If you read all my post, personally I am a person who loves to hear different opinions. So, I never felt being attacked by you in anyway. You can be sure of that.

Neither do I. But I think all those separation or misunderstanding, if by separate you are referring to those kind of stuff, I think they do help to make this drama more impactful. It just shows that their coming together was not a piece of cake. They had to overcome so many hurdles in order to be a couple. It does make their union much sweeter than those love at first sight kind of stuff.

They do product placements all the time in modern Cdramas. It is one way to finance the drama. Product owners will pay for some of the production cost. We are not viewers from China and here in YAMG, they did the product placements so well, we do not even realise much of it. But, I can assure you, Chinese viewers will know that lots of ad were going on in this drama. Just not so obvious as that video game they were playing.
