I did not see any saving face in giant letter at E9, the restaurant scene. Maybe I missed seeing those giant letter. I was referring to JJ, trying to stand up for YT, in front of his ex-prof, and somewhat going against what the ex-prof was trying to say. That might have made YT feel a bit embarrassed. The two elderly must surely thought that JJ is his girlfriend, and to have a young person like that, speaking up against the elderly, that must be against Chinese culture, causing YY to lose face in front of the ex-prof and his wife.

Agree. They get paid big money to play YT and QJJ. So, they will just act in all the interaction scenes, scenes that have their faces or complete body. All those scenes just showing hands hitting on the phones, those are hand doubles.

Indeed! Quite a few people said that; they commented that this drama looks like a big ad campaign for that particular video game! I am not a game person. So, I just fast forward all those game scenes. Especially those with little interactions between QJJ and YT. I ended up not losing much. Still able to understand the main plot and the storyline. And I am very happy that by E15, there will be no more game scenes.

This is to be expected. Gu Man, the lady who wrote the novel, is also the scriptwriter or screenwriter for the drama. If the book is well received, and it is, she will not want to change anything.
