What kind of dramas do you like to watch? Any particular genre??

Oh, 'we' just refers to the majority of us here who enjoy this drama so much. It is just a convenient term that we use. Nothing special.

No one from MDL admin is handling us in any official way. This page is moving just fine, so I doubt MDL will want to waste time 'handling' us.

They should just take their time and not rush. Since this is not show on Netflix in Sweden, they are watching it on those online platform on their PC?? The drama will always there, so really no rush.

Dear all, Starblink is a rather legitimate drama viewer. She has gone on to watch TLB, came to the page of TLB and ask questions and I have good exchanges with her on the page of TLB. No need to doubt her as a sincere drama viewer.

Perhaps YAMG is not her cup of tea, and that is ok. We bear no resentment toward her whatsoever. Maybe after watching TLB, she falls in love with Reba's performace there, and come back to watch YAMG again. and may have a different opinion.

No problem. Once you read the stuff that are in those post, you will understanind perfectly why her uncle had to kill her father. Some may say it was the right thing to do, that her uncle had no thoice. others may disagree.

That is so true. The classification of genres is for people who are quite selective about what they watch. Some really do not like certain genres. If you like historical, it is very very easy to choose. And you will find TLB to be a very good drama.

Let us assure you. It is well worth it. You will enjoy YAMG. At least a great majority of us here do.

I am going to stop exchanging posts with you. We try to establish a rule here, to respect the opinion of every single person who comes here. Whether or not they agree with the great majority. That after a few posts, if we cannot come to a common understanding, those of us here who like this drama and feel that it is under-rated, will stop exchanging views with those who feel otherwise, in order not to stir more misunderstanding.

I am so sorry. I read this line from you, and I quote: I like actress like YangMi or Song Qian, they pick roles who fit their mature image, ZLY. That gave me the impression that you are their fans. Perhaps you could state your position more clearly, that you are not their fans. The use of the word 'like' surely gives any English reader the impression that you are their fan. Even if you did quality by saying they pick their roles that fit their image.

And, by the way Reba is only 29, and the actress she is playing is only about 29. So, she did pick roles that are mature or that match her actual age. I was told she was handpicked for this role by the author and screenwriter, Gu Man. And for TLB, she was also handpicked by the producer and director. Nothing wrong with her choice of roles. She picked roles that she likes to play. Strong female leads. That matches what she likes to portray.

Different actresses pick their roles using different methods. You may prefer these other actresses' way of picking role, others may prefer Reba's way.

It is because of that phrase you made, that gave me the impression you are their fans. If you could phrase that sentence better, I would not have come to that conclusion. Plus of course, you say Reba looks old. That itself is judgemental. I am not sure how many here would agree with you.

Everyone is entitled to her/his opinion. If you do sincerely feel that this drama is over-rated, it could simply mean that there is a mis-match between your taste and what this drama is offering. No one needs to be offended in anyway. Not you, not me.

My experience has been, there is no point to keep staying at the discussion forum of a drama you find is over-rated, whilst a great majority found this to be an absolute delight. You will keep insisting that this is a lousy drama, while so many will find your comment so out of place.

It is not my prejudice that this is a great drama. Please do a statistical sampling of all the comments here. Take any random sample of about 100 comments here or commentators here. About 80% say this is good, if not great drama.

Personally, before I join a forum, I will scroll and check to see what is the majority opinion and view. If a great majority say this is a good drama, I will not go in there to say this is an over-rated drama. Why would I? I would be hurting the feelings of a great majority of the people there. And any ongoing discussion would be very painful.

Rather, I would read and try to find out why a great majority say this is a great drama, so that I will check myself, see if I have any personal biases. I believe in numbers. If 80% say this is good, and I think this is bad, I rather trust the judgment of those 80%, than my own opinion.

Yes, but we will need to fight back even more. Soangel, one of the commentators here, mentioned that a few days ago we were being attacked by people who have large number of fake MDL accounts. And they used these account to deliberately rate this drama down. So now, all who like this drama must really try to rate it as high as possible. Just to counter all these fake account raters.

The answer is right up there, in the Recent DIscussion section. Look for two links. Both of them have something to do with the Xuanwu Gate Incident. They will explain why the uncle killed LCG's dad.

I do not know if you are intentionally slamming this drama and Reba. I am not a mind reader, so I will not judge you. You can check your own heart and your own conscience, and see if you are intentionally slamming this drama and Reba.

I do hope that you are aware Yang Mi and Reba belong the same company. And they are very very good friends with mutual respect. If you are indeed a fan of Yang Mi, I am not entirely sure Yang Mi will be happy to read what you have have written about YAMG and specifically about Reba.

Like I said, we don't have a leader here. If there is, yes, that leader would have consciously put the 'they' in the minority. It just so happened to be a natural order of things, that if you were to take statistical samples of comments here, about 80% will belong to the 'we' category.

I meant, if you look at the statistics here, about 80% of the commentators here like this drama. And only very very few actually said they do not like it or YY and DD are not good actor/actress.

Actually, if you browse through all the comments here over the past days, that is about right. Dissenting views come from very few people. Some not aware whey YY had to act the way he does up to E12. But after some people explained the rationale, some of these 'they' changed to become 'we'. Perhaps that is also why you see less of the 'they' here. 'They" could already have changed sides.

Oh dear. I don't think you are aware what is happening. She was deliberately asked to eat more, so that her face will look fatter, and she will look younger for the role of Li Changge, since Li Changge is just 14 and Reba is 28.

I meant she did not age, in the sense that there was so little time lapse between filming of TLB and filming of YAMG. Everyone ages over a period of time, but not in a matter of a few months. Especially an actress like Reba She knows how to take care of her skin and has no problem looking young.

I am a fan of great acting, not a fan of specific actress. I did not watch Love Designer nor Pretty Li Hui Zhen.

Ah, you are a fan of those other actresses. Is that why you come here?? To say that this drama is over-rated?? And Reba look so old?

I see!! In that case you very likely may not have read the novel. I did not either, before starting on this drama.

But those who have read the novel mentioned that that his character is like that. A bit expressionless. Especially when you contrast it with a bubbly QJJ. People who have the novel mentioned that he will emote later, when those episodes call for him to show great sadness.

So far, I am enjoying it because he still showed great chemistry, when he is with Dilraba. Not sure if you have reached those episodes yet, but each time YT is with QJJ, his face will just light up, showing you happy he is, whenever he is with her. They have great eye gazes and their conversation shows the kind of tension that predates dating dialogue between two lovers.
