I don't know what to think of this. I loved Reply 1997, it's been a true breath of fresh air in the otherwise melodrama-studded Korean dramaworld.
This sounds more like a remake than a continuation, and even if it were, second seasons are usually a sad fiasco, because they try too hard to compare.

I truly hope you are going to enjoy the full drama; I may have been a little emotional while writing my review, because the drama happened to touch issues I'm quite sensitive about. So for once I decided to overlook little cheesiness in the dialogues or some silly scenes - nothing major, really - and write with the heart. That's why I'm not sure my opionion will be generally shared.
I certainly hope so, because the drama deserves attention, if for nothing else for its courage and the absolute lovely characters. :)

LOL, I'd say it's definitely NOT Korean and if it had given me a Rich Man Poor Woman vibe I'd have dropped it like a hot potato. Zenkai Girl is much more to my taste, but I believe you will get a lot of very different and unexpected vibes from this drama before it's over. ;)

Who knows, they could have him kidnap a couple of Gisaengs and transport them to Planet X. LOL

However, I don't see why they should have someone land in Joseon era and then show us a contemporary drama, it doesn't make much sense, does it?
I still fear that they are going to make another fantasy saeguk out of this. Unfortunately, an alien alone doesn't make a sci-fi plot, for which genre they would need to be a lot more imaginative and original than simply put the nth time-lapse into the mix.
We will see, I suppose. :)

I DO know Pil Suk & Jason, however, and agree with you 100% that they are one of the most adorable couple ever appeared on screen. I loved Dream High 1 mostly thanks to them. :D

I'm watching Ryusei No Kizuna, which is a lot funnier than I expected from the synopsis and I'm thinking of finally crossing the strait to Korea and put an end to my self-imposed embargo on that country, lol.
I'm trying I hear your voice, I like the cast. The 1 episode seems promising, I only hope it won't turn into the nth melodrama, because I have had enough of those for a while. ;)
