Geez, what's with the Joseon mania? Couldn't we have a simple, true sci-fi drama, at long last?
I am ready to bet this turns into the nth fantasy-saeguk.

Thank you. :D
Usually I'm less emotional in my reviews, but now and then I abandon myself to feeling. I think this drama deserved to be watched for the brave way of facing a terrible issue. :)

Yes, Japanese dramas have this quality, as a general rule. Personally, I love it that they are able to touch sensitive chords in me without trying to suck all my patience and rationality out of me, like most Korean dramas.
Sorry... lately I am a little anti-Korean, perhaps because the last K-things I watched were all melos and I hated them. LOL
I will get over it, promise. ;)

Ashu will guide you well, I have no doubt.
:D Send her my affectionate regards when you hear from her! ;)
Once you've found a couple of "drama soul-mates" you'd better hold them dear, they can be the most precious source of recommendation and prevent you from wasting 20 hours or more of your life on something you won't like. ;)

Loved your review of Bara No Nai Hanaya. Such a beautiful, underrated drama. Accidentally, I'm rewatching it every Sunday with my mum. :)
Thanks for the lovely read. :D

Lee Min Ho is one of the most hyped about Korean actors ever, and everything he touches is raved about. I think he's only topped by Jang Geun Suk in the hit parade of fangirls.
I don't particularly like neither of them, but then I'm not a fan of Joo Won either, LOL. Sorry, I don't find him sexy at all and I dropped The Bridal Mask on the 1st episode. Not my cup of tea.
You had problems with Tokyo Dogs, I had the same with Rich Man Poor Woman, Innocent Man, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and other, in my opinion super overrated dramas.
I hope you'll seep more through the drama world, 'cause I'd like to know what you think of some of the most popular shows out there. :D

I know what you mean. Censuring a popular drama is always like treading on a mine-field. Most readers don't really value a review for its cohesion to the rules of good critique or its usefulness, they just defend their idols (let's face it, CH is a feast for Min Hoo's lovers), as if saying you didn't like a drama were a personal offence to the people who loved it.
On my part, I enjoyed CH while it was airing, but it didn't leave any lasting impression on me. A few days ago, because of an article about the music, I re-watched part of an episode and asked myself why did I like the drama in the first place? The acting is forced, the editing hiccupping, the action unbelievable.
But you said it all with much more humour and for this I thank you again. :D
Buahahahaha, that make me wonder all the time too.. especially the running and crazy stylist, i always thought…
Hahahahaha
You will think I'm completely crazy but your comment on languages reminded me of "Mars Attack" and the priceless first encounter with the Martians. There they use a translating machine, with hilarious results. LOL
Martians should have landed in Korea. :D
HAHAHA! I loved your article, you wrote it with a great sense of humor and I have often been confused with many…
Yes, I must say the levitating sums are the ones that confuse me the most too, possibly because every single time I fall into the trap and do the conversion, all for nothing. LOL
Has anyone ever noticed that whenever they need a taxi the taxi is there ?
True, which makes it all the more mysterious that they insist on running... ;)

I've just finished reading your review (and Ashu's) of City Hunter and I'm still laughing out loud.
Honestly, I couldn't care less if you bash a drama I loved or rave about one I hated, as long as the review makes me feel something.
So, please keep them coming. :D
I love your article! Especially the running part! Asians gotta be the best athletes :) Including women with heels…
LOL, how could I forget women running on heels the height of the Burj Dubai? From dawn to dusk, no less. Hahaha.
I confess however that I always enjoy watching a hot guy running... am I the only one? ;)
Write a review yourself and help the cause! :D
