Ah, Go is a problem. DC used to have it, but it's gone. I have it on my pc, by I don't know how to share it, meaning that I know how to upload videos, but I don't know how to cut the movie into parts and add hardsubs to it.
Lately I've looked for it because a friend wanted to see it, but I couldn't find it anywhere on streaming. I fear you will have to download it.
In the meantime, I will ask a mod in DC to explain to me how to upload the movie. If it works, I'll come back to you at once. :)

I can't believe it. I wrote a novel and it told me the session was invalid and my message was erased. Uff!!!
If you don't like LSG, there's nothing to be done; if I can't stand the male lead, there's no way I can watch a drama with him, so I think you're very brave in persisting. :)
As for Yoochun, I think he's ADORABLE. I too loved him in SSK scandal, where he played his part very well. I had a crush on the playboy guy, though, his character was such a mixture of vanity and depth I had a constant grin on my face while watching. :D
Yoochun is also the reason why I haven't dropped the roof prince entirely. He and his power rangers are hilarious! But to me the drama's got too many plot-lines, it exhausts me. I'll pick it up later on.
Also, I can't watch more than 1 airing drama at a time: it makes me... lose connection.

I'm watching King2Hearts and I'm in love with it. On the other hand, I've put Rooftop on hold because right now I have an aversion for evil stepsisters, meddling families and convoluted plots.
As you see, I talk and talk but I end up losing my heart on a Korean drama. ;)

When I am in love with a drama, it's like having a crush on a man: I can see no fault in it. You don't stop loving someone just because he hasn't shaved in a few days or has ruffled hair - no, that's the wrongest example I could make, now I'll spend the rest of the day imagining Korean men with sexy ruffled hair. :P

At the time I was suffering from a serious secret garden withdrawal and in dire need of a romantic story not written by the Hong sisters, LOL. A friend of mine whose judgment I usually trust, recommended it, and being in such a state I thought I would try. I think the first episode made the trick, because although it was a period drama, it felt... fresh, almost modern. Also, I have a weakness for school settings. So I went on - at first skipping most of the political staff because not only I didn't understand a thing of it, I think I landed on some seriously bad subs.
Anyway, I enjoyed it very much.
Ok, it's a deal: I will start The Princess Man next week (right now, I'm submerged with work and am doing nothing, idiot me) and I will come back to you with first impressions. Bear with me then! :D

Star, your questions about the reason why I don't watch period dramas gave me an idea for a discussion thread.
It made me ponder on the subject drama setting and how it can influence our choices.
The reasons aren't clear to me. I think it's a combination of factors: I love history, but I very much prefer modern to ancient history, even when reading. Most Korean and Chinese historical dramas are set in ancient times. Korean seem to be set always in the same time: Joseon.
Women is another issue. I know they have their share of female warriors and the like, but mostly that was a period when women had very few rights. Grrr.
The whole plotting and scheming is another deterrent.

This said, I loved SKK Scandal, lol (hurrah coherence). I loved that it took place in a school, the beautiful poetry scattered here and there in the script and had a crush on Goo Yong Ha the playboy. LOL

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *sigh*
Kim Joo Won is a modern Korean Mr Darcy. So infuriatingly... wonderful. ;)

The lapidation isn't due to the reviews themselves, but to the length. I know for a fact that many - here and elsewhere - don't even begin to read something when they see a lot of text, and decide it's not helpful based on their laziness, not the quality of what's written. It's the same with comments on forum, more often than not. On my part, I look forward to read your review of The Greatest Love because I too thought the comedy wasn't... clever at all. Everybody around me was raving about how they laughed out loud, but I promise you, I barely cracked a smile for the first 2/3 episodes until I dropped it with a sigh of relief. XD

I do have some guilty pleasures, though, things I loved which many thought silly, so I can't claim any particular wisdom in the drama department. LOL

I ended up writing a novel myself. Sorry! :D
