The drama has deviated from the novel bc in the novel Zi Qi did not confess like this and there was no prince character either. They're also the stereotypical righteous / morally "clean" protagonists, to create a contrast with the cunning Lin Yu and Black Lotus. So far, this is the highest quality transmigration drama that I've watched. Most of them were really low budget dramas starring unknown actors and had a lot of plot holes. But I can tell this one is well written and shows a lot of thought behind it!

Yes he is so cute! I wonder where his grandpa is. I think they mentioned he has really powerful healing abilities (bc he's some sort of rare herb or sth). Maybe his disappearance is essential to the plotline.
