On Clean with Passion for Now Nov 9, 2019
I don't understand the low rating. I agree the last few episodes were filled with A LOT of unnecessary angst, but every other part was 10/10 so that would've made up for the draggy parts. The comedy was one of the best I've seen, I laughed out loud at some parts, and that says a lot because I almost never laugh out loud. The romance was out-of-this world too -- CWPFN features some of the best kisses (and the lengthiest kiss) in KDRAMA HISTORY. Seldom do you see dramas show the guy's side of falling in love and acting all giddy and clumsy. Seldom do you see explicit sexual tension in a kdrama. And you get to see it here. It's such a precious add-on to the list of kdramas, almost like a representation of a new era.

Oh and I almost forgot to talk about Yoon Kyun Sang. His acting was top notch. He doesn't hold back and his facial expressions make the funny scenes even funnier. It's fun just watching for his scenes alone.

I think the Korean title says A Day Found By Chance? That's such a beautiful and fitting title, extraordinary you…
Basically a synonym for "Haru Found By Chance" which is very fitting indeed :)
Extraordinary You is just as good tho and I loved the dialogue where they explained what it meant

when the stage is over, they immediately start to act like their normal selves and their whole mood and facial…
They do notice the weirdness, but then they forget as soon as the next scene/stage starts.

They are playing 17 year olds tho :DTheir real age has nothing to do with kisses in the drama
I believe their in-drama age doesn't affect the amount of kisses, it only affects the quality/type of kiss. Like, they wouldn't do hot steamy kisses.

Title Extraordinary You Spoiler
Baek Kyung is piece of sh*t even with self awareness in shadows as expected."h'Es A mErE eXtRa" can't even count…
Agreed. I can't understand why people would ship Baek Kyung and Dan Oh at all. He's verbally abusive almost every time he speaks, and he has violent tendencies when he gets mad. He also mainly just wants to prove himself as a superior character over Haru, rather than caring about Dan Oh's wellbeing. Even if he truly loves her, it's a very selfish and possessive love. No matter how much I sympathize with his situation, he's not the right person for Dan Oh.

After seeing that Haru seems to be the only one who can change the storyline of Secret, I have started thinking…
That's very very likely. As for the scar, my interpretation of the rules of the drama is that injuries occurring in the shadow will go away when the stage starts, but injuries occurring on stage do not because they are part of the story. They only go away when the story development says the injury isn't needed anymore. So the fact that Haru has an old scar probably means he got it on stage in Flower.

How did the webtoon end?
Would be too huge of a spoiler to put it here, but there's a Google doc in the discussion board above that sums up the ending pretty well.
On Extraordinary You Nov 3, 2019
Just read the webtoon and I gotta say both have their own strengths. The drama is lighter and more quirky, while the webtoon is darker and more melodramatic. They changed the story quite a lot so the ending of the drama seems to be unpredictable - I'm not sure if it'll end up like the webtoon, which is a good thing.

Can I just say this first, I literally made an MDL account just to post good comments about this drama ???? This…
That's honestly what I'm going through as well. I've been watching all the BTS, reading Douban reviews and analyses articles non-stop just to see if I missed any theories or details. And everytime I rewatch the episodes I discover something new. The world view of this drama is so interesting and the sets, clothes, names of people and references to Buddhism and Taoism have so much meaning behind them. These things are so easily missed by international viewers who only focus on the plot. There's actually much more than meets the eye.

Nice people do one bad thing and it's a death sentence. Bad people do multiple bad things and get off each time…
I believe it has something to do with the Yuan family having been demon slayers for tens of thousands of years. They gave Yuan Tong multiple chances because they were grateful for the contribution of her family and were sympathetic of the fact that literally her whole family had died except her.

Have anybody beside notice that LX wear every colors except white, but JC wear the majority of it.
And Lin Mo mostly wears white colors, guess it's for constant of the two characters?

If anyone is still on the fence about watching this because the lead actors age/looks. Ep 50 at about 42:06 watch…
You're absolutely right. There's a good amount of subtle acting required for that scene.
(But watching that scene without watching from the beginning would be a huge spoiler so I'd suggest people to carry on at the start while anticipating very solid acting.)

Something I never knew I needed, but will probably now want to know - thank you!Not technically stats related,…
I agree!! But sth I observed is that when I try to change the rating I gave to an already completed drama, it also changes the finished watching date to now, treating it as if it was a new entry instead of an edit.

I might get bashed here, but the healer is not really that unique some people even call it the best thriller Korean…
I feel like it's popular mainly for the romance. It's a decent thriller drama but not the best, but the best ones usually don't have romance in it and that is a discounting factor for some people.

Someone expain to me why JC hair is flowing, although he is the GOW whilst everyone else who works under him has…
Guess it's a common thing for elders or Gods with a higher status in their world, like Yun Feng, Thunder God, Heavenly Emperor, ML's master and a few of the emperor's congressmen. The wider and more spread out hair kind of shows their dominance.

The voice dubbing of Chang Chen is 80% similar to his real voice. They really chose it well :)

Oh boy then you are really not going to like what he has to do next...
He does suffer a lot in my pov. He is stuck in between the greater good vs protecting his loved one, and the fact that he is the God of War just makes it worse. He did ultimately find a way to save both sides regardless of everyone (including his own MASTER) telling him he's walking down the wrong path. If we see things in his shoes, it takes a lot of courage to bypass everyone and come up with his own way and be confident about it, and he succeeded in doing so so I would forgive him for that slip up. Besides, I'm 100% sure he wouldn't have been able to freeze her. He simply underestimated his love for her when he did it. The purpose of that scene was to show the moment he breaks off his principles and responsibilities for her, and that moment marked his eternal unwavering determination to love this woman. it was a symbol of actualizing love, and not cruelty for me.
