I really liked this one and binged it in 3 days. But, I think we could've seen more of the squad and their stories. I wanted to see Ye Yun and Yu Qiao move on with other people too. Also, Du Shang and Cai Fang Yuan were so on back burner that I could barely remember them at some point.
Like some people mentioned this was so unrealistic, I get that they were childhood friends but we don't see where their strong connection comes from or why it can last at all. Especially I still don't get why Yingtao liked Qiaoxi that much in the first place, and vice versa. I loved her bravery and resilience but what did she even see in Qiaoxi I don't think I'll ever get in my life time. Anyways, this drama definitely lacked that 1% of something special that makes a youth drama heartwrenching yet so beautiful that it stays with you but still a solid one to enjoy to uplift your mood.
Yeah I thought I hated Min Hwan and Su Min, but Tomoya and Reina are honestly next level evil. Especially the…
I think Tomoya and Reina were more realistic and non caricaturistic like the k-version. Reina’s obsession was more subtle yet so deeply rooted. Su Min looked and behaved batsh*t crazy all the time. Reina was that classic green tea b*tch frenemy that snapped at the end.
I think Reina and Misa's closure was done so much better than the Korean version. I liked how everything was much tighter plot wise and it was more on the slice of life instead of melodramatic romance/revenge story. But, even though I loved the acting overall, Reina and Wataru had more chemistry than Reina and Misa. Actually Reina had chemistry with everyone XD
Personally I don't mind if someone is gay but when they're bi I'm like no thank you. I wouldn't be able to date…
Thank you for replying with such kindness. You are right, I see how my comments can add onto stigma and feed unwarranted hate on bi people. I shall be more mindful from now on :) God bless your heart.
Wrong, It actually goes something like this:Why Viewers Betray the Male Lead for the Second Male Lead (No Matter…
My standart is pretty low, as long as male lead doesn't try to kill the female lead in an unjustified cruel way I'm good. Plus no cheating. Also, there this problem, sometimes the character or the actor just doesn't have the charisma to lead the drama itself, I'm like, why on earth his story is being told and not the NPC3's.
Personally I don't mind if someone is gay but when they're bi I'm like no thank you. I wouldn't be able to date…
I'm sorry if my comment has hurt you but like I said that is my own insecurity, there is no rhyme or reason to a person’s insecurity. In the simplest terms I believe man and woman can be really good friends but not best friends, for example I wouldn’t want my partner to stay over in a girl’s home alone, I’m not that magnanimous. Now, if that said partner is bi, I’d be equally uncomfortable with him staying over his guy friend's house. I don’t care if modern people are more relaxed about their relationships, I’m not, and it’s not like everyone has to date bi people either. Btw, ‘‘Personally I don't mind if someone is gay but when they're bi I'm like no thank you.’’ this line was meant for dramas, not real people. I don’t like ambiguity when watching romance dramas, that's all. I don’t care about people's sexuality unless I’m dating them.
Anyways, not everyone has to be self assured and all accepting, I don’t have a vendetta against anyone. Wish you and your partner to have love and happiness through your lives.
I never like 2nd leads, but that doesn't mean I always like the main leads either. Sometimes all of them are trash, simple as that. But, usually I hate that fake nice guy 2nd lead persona, that kind of selfless devotion is creepy, opportunistic and frankly doesn’t make any sense. I don’t like third wheels or fake friends. A guy waiting for a what if whilst pretending to be your friend is just gross not cute.
ep 35Chu Hoi Gong is officially the worst character ever, my blood boils every time I see his face
He is not loyal, doesn't think about innocent people at any point and he is indiscriminate in his killings. We actually never see him act as a righteous character ever.
Just started ep 39 And I just wanted to say......Fu..k You Chu Hoi Gong FU..K YOUthe most irredeemable character…
He was a selfish trash through and through. I have never seen him put others before him or even be good to people who actually loved him. He was ready to kill, lie, steal and abandon in every turn yet he is blaming Nan Heng for all his troubles. Nan Heng was such a saint that it made no sense, people like Chu Gui Hong are the kind I'd rather never meet. A snake that what he is.
this would all be fixed if the world wasn’t terrified of bisexuality and didn’t adore binaries but here we…
Personally I don't mind if someone is gay but when they're bi I'm like no thank you. I wouldn't be able to date someone who is bi, there would always be this what if question in my mind and I applaud those who are confident in themselves and their relationships but it gives me anxiety. Hence I usually steer away from stories that can swing either way. Not a big fan of bro-romance for the sake of censorship too. I have too many uncertainties in my life to enjoy watching someone else to discover themselves.
p.s. I don't even know why I'm replying to you, sorry, just wanted get that thought out of my mind.
After watching ep28 I realize that Nan Rui is cruel in way that a stupid child is. He speaks with utmost sincerity while spouting the most bone cutting words. It is a miracle that Nan Heng still have so much kindness left in him. If I were him I'd be demon king lv1000 at this point. Everyone has so much beef with him just because he exists.
Chu Gui Hong, what a useless piece of trash, I can curse him to the end of days. He has done freaking nothing for Nan Heng even as a little piece of brat yet he keeps yapping. May god never give me friends as treacherous as him. I hope he dies a painful death.
you can watch it on https://kisskh.co/ The site is safe and I have used it now for a few years (just make sure…
Thanks for the heads up but I already use that site. I'm just mad that I still have to go through loops to watch a drama when I'm trying to be all legal by paying for freaking every site under the sun.
Still not available in my region :( and I pay for all 3 platforms... I'm subbed to everything under the sun yet can watch this only on pirated sites. What a joke.
I loved how there was no easy fix to anything, what needed to happen did happen. Ru Yue's way of making up for all those regrets for everyone was so beautiful. From beginning to the very end not a single side character was left out, each and everyone of them had their own path to take, that was their karma, that was their cycle. At first I thought side characters weren't to be taken seriously, just fillers in their love story, similar to how the divine finds mortals insignificant. Later on we are shown how mortals have their own path, resilience, fate and karma. Going against the current may not bear a better or a different result but their choice is theirs to make. That's why life is worthwhile, be it a mortal or an immortal each life still counts and still is precious.
P.s. Just one thing about the plot was underwhelming and that is the lack of involvement from the emperor and other divinities. They kept sending that messenger for all those moments but when it mattered none would help, that part puzzled me to no end.
