Hyung gu is such a fox, and I really hate foxy people. I don't care how smart or how persistent he is, I hate seeing people getting their way with just saying pretty please. Till that point I liked his play but after that ugh.
This series shows how human heart is biased towards to those whom they consider their side. For that matter Hyunggu nailed the game, he had his shields all over whilst keeping himself clean, even that prize game was possible due to Sohee, ugh idk. He really played the game, he never considered feelings when making his decisions yet made others feel for him. What a scary person, I'd hate to have a person like that around me, and don't tell me that it was just a game. Nope, that's just how he is, you can't be focused 24/7.

I love enemies to lovers trope but blood feud between their families is so beyond that if I were him I could never really love her. And, if I were her I could never fully trust him either. Such an unfair situation but he at least has power whilst she only has her wits.

I think he is fair though, reverse the roles you'd be hoping that the female lead would just kill the male lead. His struggle is pretty real and in the novel female lead guarded against him till the very last chapters.
Also the novel version of him was such a jerk that I never really rooted for their union, but here he is rather nice sans the mood swings due to 14 years old hatred :)
This whole situation is unfair to both of them but I still find her to be the most pitiful, she has to risk it all to have her life spared yet he only has to endure a woman who is dancing on his palm.

I wonder if he will go down that route in drama too, I hope he won't.

He says that Jin Xiu has to eliminate all of his feelings to be impartial, a divine punisher with no mercy that sounds so much fun for all of the realms. And that Kun Lun guy is beyond willful and self-serving yet you are going to let him govern.

I know I shouldn't looking for logic in a low-tier fantasy drama but it still gets on my nerves.

I kind of like the idea of more seasons in a shared universe with a different yet connected cast. Just like Reply Series or even Hospital playlist, and Dr. Romantic. I actually wish that there would be more of them.

I haven't seen this one but according to your comment it sounds pretty loyal to the novel. Novel had barely any romance too. And personally, I really didn't care about the romance part since it was never at focus from the get go.

Sure he is not that much of a doll but he totally rocks the role of a hot senior that excels at everything. He has the perfect nerd hot guy vibe.

I think it is due to the fact that interactions between the characters are now finally taking a shape, and since we mainly see things from O Yi Young's perspective who was so ready to leave any moment and emotionally distant to other characters we can finally see her connection, hence we feel more connected to other characters.

Am I the only one who is totally crushing on their interactions of the main couple? I legit get butterflies from her crushing on him. It has the old k-drama vibes, no skinship yet pure romance, love that.

And of course this quad is so fun to watch, like I said before this installment is a lot simpler compared to HP but I love how easy it is to watch them.

Last season was melodrama all around, too much sympathy was present. I personally loved that kind drama, it made me root for their interactions but there were too many sheep and it sort of made all of them look dumb despite their qualifications.
In this season I love how we can see each player actually plays and not lead by the collar, these people are smart and they are smart in their own unique way. Compassion is a human trait so is deceit, this show highlights how when one is too bent in one way or another intelligence becomes useless, reading people and situations coupled with brains is the way to go.

This show is a great social experiment and sheds light on how society governs itself when given free rein to some degree. You can't win without putting your personal interests first yet there is also nothing would be left to win if you take care of your interests only.

I think they should keep that b&b and actually keep it open for normal people too. It would be such a great tourist attraction. Can't wait for S2.

This is fun, vibe is different from Hospital Playlist and that's a good thing. It lacks the depth of the HP as there is no established relationships or history between the characters but a blank slate has it's own charms for sure.
Last episode brought other departments into the mix which finally gave some dimension to this set up, would love to see the focus to be more on that dynamic from now on. It feels more organic to see the hospital as a whole instead of just ob-gyn.

This was so good, I'll be checking out Huang Hao Yue's new works for sure, she was fire in this drama.
Ending was spot on, albeit a bit sad as she couldn't protect her closest people but also pretty inspiring too see her in glory. She fits the bill of a wise ruler for sure.

Btw, 'Of course, he's still an eye candy even if he's all dressed up as a fisherman.', personally before this drama I never found PBG especially attractive, he has a fine face structure for sure but I never felt for his character until this one. Whatever he did for this role he really should keep up with it.
