Baifern carried this dark and heavy psychological drama with her phenomenal performance as a transgender woman who merely wanted to be loved and accepted like another human being. I gave this a slightly higher rating than I intended purely for the heartachingly perfect finale which tied the otherwise melodramatic and directionless drama together beautifully. Do watch with caution as it deals with topics that might not be palatable for all, specifically incest, gender dysphoria, infidelity, parental abuse and mental illness.
Go Soo is so criminally underrated. I hope he'll get his due with this drama. Also random but I just watched Zenkamono which was about a parole officer and here I have landed on another one..
what is with the incredibly misogynistic dialogues on this show?! she drinks bitter coffee so the ML comments that she drinks like a man or the doctor telling her to behave like a woman and that a good woman is gentle and soft.. Anyway.. I know it's a lakorn but I just had to get it off my chest lol
Also the actress playing Rungrong could do with some acting lessons..
I watched till E13 and it's amazing how the doctor, despite saying tons of harsh stuff to her, in a way turned out to be someone who truly loved her the way she is. The way she said she loves him too (clearly more than a brother but less than romantic love) was such a refreshing portrayal of various forms of love. So rare for Asian dramas, especially lakorns. It's like he was her everything (all the roles mixed in one; mother, father, brother, man) .. i could completely understand Chat's jealousy and insecurity over her ambiguous and undefined relationship with the doctor (despite Chat's hypocrisy)
They did a great job casting the older male Nira and the female lead who played Nira - like Baifern and that guy actually look similar!!
E17 - I am glad she did that to her father. Serve him right!
E20 - LMAOOOO did they really use 10 Downing Street as her London address?! Did they just use the first famous address and not even bother that it is the PM's office address I JUST CAN"T STOP LAUGHING
Baifern hit it out of the park in that finale! Absolutely phenomenal acting!
But horror is a genre I tend to avoid.. will wait for reviews on how scary it is.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did :)
Of all the pics, that's the pic they found?!

You bet we do, especially when it's a voice as irresistible as his.
Color me excited for this A1 combination of talent.
