This was a fantastic drama. Kept me addicted and always trying to guess the right answers, but the plot twists were really unpredictable.

The only thing I'm wondering about is why Jeongwon never brought up the fact that her husband beat up Mingyu so bad. (Especially when she was arguing with him and when he was arrested.)

Yeah for a while now....I'm shocked too that they are in same dramaaaaa
The drama was filmed sometime last year, and that's when they got together. Luhan announced they are dating in October 2017, I think.
On I'm Your Destiny Jul 28, 2018
I found this drama to be very cute, and I liked the way they explored the topic of destiny. It made me wonder how much of that could be true in real life, since I myself am quite a romanticist and truly believe that everything happens for a reason and the way it's supposed to. :D

I would have wanted the plot to be thicker and the male lead's personality was a little.. meh, but overall I did enjoy it quite a bit!

I recommend this to those that enjoy rom-coms. It was fun (and funny actually), but I don't think people that are looking for deeper dramas would like this much. :D
On What's Wrong with Secretary Kim Jul 27, 2018
This was such a nice drama. Even though you cannot go into it expecting a genius and totally unique plot, it was great even with the whole cheesiness.

In my opinion, the thing that made this drama so awesome is the characters. They were done so well and super entertaining to watch! Kim Miso alone deserves to be named one of, if not THE best female characters of 2018. Absolutely loved the dialogues between the characters, and the friendships + relationships that formed. And of course, the whole cast was phenomenal in their roles, especially Park Minyoung and Park Seojoon.

I do have some tiny complaints about the pace of the plot at rare times (since the story of the past was resolved pretty quickly), and I had thought Lee Taehwan's role would be bigger. But I am also glad the mystery was not dragged out and that there wasn't a frustrating love triangle.

This is one of the best, most fun and entertaining light dramas I have seen. So, if you are looking for something like that, this is a great choice!

I was thinking the same lmao. When people use random Korean words when speaking English or whatever language,…
For words like "oppa" ("unnie", "noona", "sunbae", etc) it can sometimes be excused as there is not a word of the exact same meaning in English, which could be used as a replacement. But people should stop with the "chingu", "saranghae", "mianhae" and all those other ridiculous koreaboo-isms. -.-
Lively Persimmon Jul 14, 2018
so many things mentioned in this article (or "article") are really wrong... like the 'noona romance' (never seen anyone be like that though? where is this info coming from;; also why is it called that, ruins the drama genre of the same name), getting mad when your "oppa" finds a girlfriend, sending hate towards an otp because you liked another otp better, randomly using korean words when you're speaking english or another language and you are not learning korean (like saying annyeong, saranghae, etc.)..... do people really do this bullsh*t?!
On Only Side by Side with You Jul 2, 2018
I agree with the number one complaint about this: too many flashbacks. If it wasn't for them, this drama could have had a smaller amount of episodes, because there wasn't that much plot anyway. My advice: if you're watching it and are close to ~20th episode, you can easily skip alllll the flashbacks, because by that time you will have seen everything. :D

Also, in my opinion, since this is a revenge drama, it could have gotten much darker and deeper. While William Chan is actually scary when angry, I feel like they kind of went nowhere with the revenge plot. :D

And while I liked the relationship and trust that formed between Nan Qiao and Shi Yue, I feel like the romance part also could have been done much better.

That being said, this was quite an interesting drama to watch, minus the flashbacks and sometimes too slow pace.

Title About Time Spoiler
Tbh I am just a little (?) more excited about / interested in the development of Wijin x Sunghee couple's relationship than Mika x Doha couple's relationship.

(Not sure if it is a spoiler, since they announced the side couple at the press conference already, but I'll tag it as one just in case.)

I know a lot of people won't agree with me, but......

I would like to think of this drama as a piece of art. A one and only gem that didn't exist before and couldn't be remade. It was perfect. And perfectly real.

The best thing about this drama is that it was made super realistic. From the way they filmed it, up to the characters' stories and the whole plotline. Yes, I do agree, some of the characters and their choices were very upsetting, some things did not have the outcome you would have expected (in a drama), but.... isn't that how real life is?

Things won't always be perfect, or work out the way they "should", and I am glad that with the whole slice of life (?) aspect they had going on, they did not forget about it.

Another thing I want to mention is how emotional this drama is. Not only it has the best OTP I have ever seen since becoming a drama watcher, it also shows ALL the emotions raw, loud and clear. Countless times after episodes I was left stunned and just had to have a moment to take it all in.
Speaking of the OTP, should I also mention that I basically had butterflies in my stomach at every romantic moment that happened? Which were a lot, and yet it always happened.

All the actors did a fantastic job, and I also want to say thank you to the producers that chose the OSTs that they did, because I have never heard a better, more fitting soundtrack to a drama's vibe and story.

This drama is not for everyone. It is slow and even frustrating at times (because, yeah, the reality). However, if you want a drama with a mature storyline, and / or (most importantly) are a fan of the romance genre, or just a romanticist in general, please watch this.

If this gets a sad ending, any type of hope I have for true love will die bye.

(((yes i know it is just a drama;;; they make me feel like it's more than just that + my own attempts at love ended pretty tragically)))
