On I Need Romance Season 2 Aug 17, 2017
This drama was a great improvement from season 1. The acting had improved, the storyline developed much better (though the pace of it got slower at the end), there were less frustrating characters, too, and the comedy they used was better quality than before.

However, I wish the characters were less stubborn; it sometimes felt like I am watching little children in adults' bodies. Also, if Joo Yeolmae had been made into a more pleasant character.... Sometimes I really couldn't stand her.

Other than that, there were some characters I quite liked, and I think I am pleased with the ending as well. Overall, I prefer this season much more than the first one!

Omg, yes. People are saying how they're glad she's not another spoiled rich girl but to me that's not what it looks like. Hopefully she will really get a character development; I hope she won't turn into those crazy 2nd leads. But knowing how clingy and manipulative she is...

I agree with you! I also like Danah more that Jiyoon. I am currently watching episode 2 and the coffee shop scene just ended.. I am not too pleased with Jiyoon's attitude of crying to get what she wants. And I feel like Danah uses so much violence because she has a strong urge to protect herself.

I'm sorry but that "you're still ugly Jung Jungwon" at the end of episode 4 made me want to laugh. How is that romantic?! :'D

And I am the only one thinking that Sung Haesung's too calm about the fact that he basically is back from the dead and now has superstrength etc. ??

I know this gets a lot of ratings that are not too positive, but I loved this drama. Even though it did get slower towards the end, and maybe it lost some of its initial intensity, I still enjoyed it all the way through.

I think it combined the darker crime genre with romance and comedy very well. (I thought I would dislike the drama when I saw the teasers, but trust me, the drama is much much better than the teasers could make you think.)

But my favorite thing in this drama has to be the relationships and friendships that formed / were developed. Despite of how different they were (for example, friends-to-lovers and enemies-to-friends), but they always still seemed realistic, and I loved watching the characters interact with each other.

Also, I would like to say this: the acting was perfect from everyone. And after seeing this drama, I am convinced Ji Changwook can pull off any type of role.

10/10 would recommend!

I will only forgive about that ending if they make a season 2 that's just as good of a quality as this one -- if not better.

The Guardians was a really great drama. A very unpredictable and very intense plot featuring very smart characters. The characters formed bonds, went through the unthinkable showing how strong they were.

I also cannot not mention Kim Youngkwang because his character and his acting in this drama have to be between the best of the best -- of this year, or maybe even the last few years.

Everything did go downhill in the last hour. I am not sure why they decided to give us that "ending", it seemed like they got bored shooting the last scene and then went "let's just stop here" mid-way. So that REALLY disappointed me.

Otherwise, if action / crime / thriller dramas are your thing, you must watch this. Well, at least that's what I think.

This has to be one of the best sageuks out there. Great acting, great story, great characters whom you cannot help but get attached to... Also, the friendships and relationships that formed were beautiful to watch. I loved the Hong family and I loved Garyung and Gildong's story. <3

Speaking of Hong Gildong, I love the fact that despite him being a hero, they did not forget to make him seem human. You could see his desperation, his emotions so clearly -- which also happened because of Yoon Gyunsang's amazing portrayal of him.

Another thing that I enjoyed in this drama was the music. Just the fact that they made it sound like it could have been sung by those people at those times, made me appreciate it a lot. I think it also gave the drama more emotionality and even depth at the right moments.

As for what I disliked, I do have to mention the irregular pace. I found this drama interesting every single episode, but sometimes it got a bit too hard to watch it.

This drama did get heavy at times, but the characters made the story so special that I ended it with a warm feeling in my heart. :')

// Also, this might be just a little off topic, but those have to be some of the cutest behind the scenes I have seen. :'D

Haven't seen all of these dramas but I very much agree with Love O2O. I dropped it before I was even halfway through, so I did not get to the part where she had an argument with her best friend, but wow, that quote is just..... And even though the main lead was kinda cute in how much he fell for her, he was also low-key creepy,

And while I did like Pinocchio, I also kinda felt something lacking in the couple's relationship.

(I would also like to add Secret; I will never stop talking about the fact that the main leads' relationship in it was toxic and had no logical reason for it to happen.)

Ahh, I did not expect this to turn out this cute. :')

Even until the end, some of the things were made way too silly and I really really don't support the abuse / violence in this, but otherwise this was actually such a heart-warming drama. I thought I would hate the male lead, but he turned out to be a cute dork in love at the end. :'D

Hana Yori Dango is a very entertaining drama, I laughed a lot, and there were even some very intense moments where I could not take my eyes off the screen. I also loved how our leading lady always stood up for herself.

I had expected this to be a much worse drama, but I am pleasantly surprised and I definitely understand why this became so popular and is now referred to as one of the classics. 10/10 would recommend!

Now I am just thinking of whether to eventually watch the season 2 of Hana Yori Dango... Can anyone help me decide? :'D
Okay, so this has everything a drama would need to be great -- an interesting storyline where they show the characters growing up, they have casted talented actors and actresses, the drama will make you feel emotional, and -- as needed for a romance drama -- the main leads have a very good chemistry.

But.. This drama was really lacking something. At first the pace was slow, but I felt it's okay because it's only just starting and the full story is not clear yet. Then it got really good and exciting and I felt impatient to always press play for the next episode. But towards the end.... It turned out that I was waiting for something that never happened. Not to mention the fact that they didn't even make a proper final episode -- only the first minutes of it were worth-watching, the rest of it was a huge flashback...

I wouldn't say there was a bad ending, I would say they could have done it properly, because right now, after skipping through episode 24, I feel like they just half-assed it, and this drama deserved much more.

This is not something I would recommend for everyone, but maybe do give it a try if you like the meaningful, slice of life kind of dramas.

I wouldn't say this drama is as terrible as other people say it is. It had some interesting characters, but the best thing about My Secret Romance was the chemistry between the main leads.

However, this doesn't have much of a plot, and some characters seemed pretty useless? And some plot lines / side stories sometimes ended up too boring..

I'd say this is a good choice if you want something very very very romantic, maybe even cheesy. I don't think people who aren't looking for a rom-com would enjoy this a lot, because, well, this is not the best thing out there. :D But as I said at the beginning, this drama is not as bad as everyone says. In my opinion.

Can't say I am very confident about them having casted Rowoon and Sejeong, such inexperienced actors, in the main roles for this one... But I hope they will give us a pleasant surprise! :)

Chicago Typewriter is only the second drama ever that I have allowed myself to rate with a 10.

This drama is such a special gem, I doubt there is any other drama similar to this one. I loved basically everything in it. The acting was perfect, the characters were all unique and very interesting. The plot-line was original. The stories were heart-wrenching and felt real, despite the genre of fantasy being involved. The three main characters were something so so so special and precious and I loved seeing them together; I laughed with them and I cried with them.

Honestly, the pacing did have some problems at times, and at the beginning -- it took me some time to really get into this. This drama is not actually my most favorite one either. But I couldn't not give it 10. In my eyes, there isn't another rating for it, it deserves the best for being so unique and different, and being able to make me feel like this -- and its other viewers obviously too.

Definitely a must-watch drama!!! You don't know what you're missing out on if you skip this.

This movie was a pleasant surprise! I started it without having some doubts of *how* enjoyable it could turn out to be... And there were things that made be go like "what?", and the beginning was a bit too slow for me, but I liked it a lot!

This movie certainly can make you laugh, but what I loved the most of it was the "female power" it showed! The two main characters were female, and the story was focusing on them. They were both strong and interesting, and the friendship they developed was precious!

Definitely something I would recommend!

Reunited Worlds seems interesting, I'd love to see Yeo Jingoo as a main role (since I'm not watching Circle or planning to). I'd probably also consider Sooyoung and Minho's dramas but I don't like web-dramas. :I

As everyone who's watched this have said: this movie is not anything super original. I started this with the hope that it will be a solid romantic comedy and, while I was not impressed at the very beginning, I kinda warmed up to it eventually. Towards the end I did slightly lose interest though.

However, this is a nice movie and, I think, a great choice if you want something very easy to watch, something where you don't even have to think that much. It will definitely make you smile, if not laugh.
On Missing Noir M May 28, 2017
This is certainly a quality drama. It has great acting, interesting cases, very smart criminals, LOTS of unexpected twists -- predicting anything is hard in this one.

What I did not like about this, is that it sometimes seemed as if they're trying to outsmart themselves by making the cases more complicated. The detectives also seemed to like making random assumptions, which I really didn't understand where they're coming from. So it's no surprise that often they were wrong. :D But what this drama actually lacked was an ending! I wouldn't care that much for the criminal, I just wish Oh Daeyong's wife...

But despite all that, I can't rate this much lower than the 8.5 I gave it, since the drama was very enjoyable and the plot twists really surprised me a lot. Though there were times where I got annoyed because of the weird plot development. XD

If you're a fan of detective / crime / investigation dramas, I do recommend this one as a great choice.
