I haven't seen many, but this is definitely my favorite Taiwanese drama and I believe it will have a very dear place in my heart for a long time.
Honestly, yes, the start of it was very slow, and the first minutes of episode 1 were actually super weird, and some episodes had to go by before I could say: yes, I like it and I will keep watching..
However. As the episodes went on, I spent less and less time on my phone and more and more time just having my eyes glued to the screen. As the episodes went by, I grew so fond of the characters, especially Li Daren and Cheng Youqing, I felt for them so much, and I can't even count the times I teared up during the last episodes.
This is definitely a must-watch drama for those people who like those more slice-of-life dramas and movies that are full of meaningful quotes.
Never thought I would actually say this in relation to this drama, but: I ended up actually loving this. :')
In my opinion, this is a very very nice drama. It's perfect for when you want to watch a romantic comedy kind of a thing, but it doesn't forget to add in some darker aspects. The humor is really good, the main leads have nice chemistry, the characters are interesting, and the plot is quite unusual. If the summary creeps you out, don't worry, there is a very good explanation for everything. :D
What I would have wanted to be better, is that the addition to the story of her father and uncle seemed kind of.. unneccessary. Also, a lot of people are complaining that the drama became super draggy; I wouldn't say it was that bad, but the beginning of the drama probably was better and seemed to have that little something that the later episodes didn't.
However, this is definitely a drama I would recommend for you to give a chance to! :)
I loved this movie so much, I even want to lower my rating for the drama version of this because the 7 I gave the drama is too close to the 9.5 I gave this. [edit: the 7 actually became 6.5...] The movie was so so much better than the drama..
In the movie, they had gotten rid of some of the characters, gotten rid of some of the things that happened in the plot of the drama, and that's one of the reasons I found this so great. They had left in only the most neccessary people and things that were very important for the plot. There were a few things that would've seemed too random though, if I hadn't seen the drama (or well, those first 14 episodes of it that I did).
Otherwise! I loved pretty much everything in it. Especially how all the characters seemed actually real and human -- which was totally the opposite of the drama version, where, for example, Xiao Nai did not even have proper emotions... Also. Can I just talk! about! the chemistry! of the two main leads!!! The lift scene was so so so so so so so sweet. ;-;
I definitely would recommend this instead of the drama, if you're trying to pick which version to watch. Unless you like very slow, overly cutesy dramas, that is. :'D

Sooooo is this a noona romance? Anyone? Considering to watch this coz KYK.
their age difference is only 3 years (in one episode you can see the second male lead checking their personal identification profiles or something and you can see their birthyears). in my opinion, you should give this a try because it is definitely very funny and for me also very entertaining. i also find the main couple's relationship very cute and their chemistry is really really good.
I started this drama with no real expectations and got pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable it was. I liked it quite a lot, especially how much I could relate to some of the characters. I also liked how the characters faced real struggles of trying to understand each other's feelings.
One of my least favorite things were how some of the characters seemed to not have a real purpose in the drama (like Watanabe) or how annoying the writers made some others (like the sasaeng). It also sometimes got a liiittle bit too slow.
But overall I would definitely recommend this, especially if you're looking for a sweet drama with warm feeling that is light and easy to watch. :)
This is most probably not a drama for everyone. It concentrates much more on politics and action and, well, the love story between Jeha and Anna, than anything else. The pacing of it is not the quickest, but I found it to be the right pace for this kind of drama, since it did not lose its intensity.
The best things about this drama were Ji Changwook and Song Yoonah's acting, they were amazing in their roles. I was also very impressed by Yoona, I thought she would do much worse, but her acting was really quite good. I also found the action well-done, of course, I liked the love story, and they did do the comedy well, too.
My main complaint: they left some of the things unexplained and sometimes the things happening were way too confusing. And! They somehow focused so much on the politics that they barely showed anything of the characters' daily lives..
However, I would say you should not pay too much attention to all the bad reviews and decide for yourself -- if you like mature dramas with action and such a serious theme as politics, definitely do give this a try. I liked this one!
I would like to think and say that this is the best historical kdrama I have ever seen (though not my favorite, since I liked Mirror of the Witch a little bit better, and please take note I still have some important saeguks on my PTW list).
My most favorite things about this was the acting from most of the actors (in Baekhyun's case, he improved with each episode, and something didn't seem quite real in Nam Joohyuk's crying scene in ep19), the story, how well it was done, the scenery and other visual things, like the clothes, or how they never forgot to make Wang So's scar just a little bit visible.
Moon Lovers was a very emotional ride, I got to smile and laugh, I got to coo at the cute scenes, and, finally, to cry actual tears.
There were things (or more like -- a thing) I wished they would have changed (or should I say, not cut out) about the ending, but overall this is a drama I very much recommend you to watch, especially if historical is one of your favorite genres.
As it is with many web-dramas, it kind of seemed like there was more to be shown, more of the story to happen. I had expected for them to actually focus more on the movie shooting than the process of starting it. And some things somethimes seemed a little too rushed or sudden.
However, overall, this was quite an enjoyable web-drama, Kyungsoo was excellent in his role, the acting of David Lee and Chae Seojin was enjoyable as well. I quite liked the dialogues as well and this is definitely great for a fun, quick watch. :)
Hands down my favorite and the best japanese drama (or movie) I have seen. This is a thriller well-done that also has a plot which makes you addicted. The writers make you think, and even though sometimes there were things that made me go -- oh wow, now how is this connected with the plot, something happened and I went "OHHH". Maybe at times some parts of this whole thing seemed too unrealistic, maybe there were things they paid a wrong amount of attention to, but still, I find this drama really really really good. The acting was great as well, and the characters were very interesting (like Kara) or just made you feel for them (Satomi). 10/10 would recommend!!
This is a drama everyone should watch if they want to see some really good kisses and some really good chemistry between the main leads, and this drama definitely makes you feel a big range of emotions.
However, I guess this drama was not really for me. I could not really get into it for a very long while, the historical events sometimes seemed too confusing or too boring, and this drama didn't make me feel the addiction, which would make me want to watch this further and further on. (Also, I wasn't that sure about Yoo Inna's acting..)
But! It is a solid drama, so if you're craving some romantically well-done fantasy drama, go ahead and give this a try. :)
This is quite a sweet movie, which would not fail to make you laugh, smile and cry. The actors did a good job as well. A thing to note is that the pace of this movie might seem slow at some moments. Also, I was not too fond of how it was edited, in the way that it sometimes just lacked music or, I don't know, seemed too silent. :D
But I would recommend this if you are looking for something nice and quite well-done that would make you feel for the characters and their stories. :)
Firstly: do not watch this drama if you want something very serious and mature in the plot. The title already suggests that nothing about this would be too angsty or too dramatic.
I had some doubts when starting this that I might not enjoy this, since it's a rom-com in it's typical way, featuring some handsome men and involving some cliches.
However, this is definitely a go-to drama if you're looking for something very light and fun, and a drama that is not perhaps meant to be taken too seriously (in the way that over-analyzing the characters / plot is a no -- if that makes sense?).
My main complaints: the way they weren't able to keep the episodes equally interesting and good, the acting of some actors, some of the characters seemed a bit too unnecessary. And last but not least, oh the second lead syndrome! :'D
