Title The K2 Spoiler
anyone else shipping the madame with her assistant the woman with the glasses? i feel such a chemistry between…
the scene in episode 1 where the assistant helped the madame clean off her makeup felt very intimate to me, so now i'm carefully looking for signs in the assistant's behaviour to find out if i'm right and if the writer's trying to do what i think he's trying to do. :'D

I watched the first episode like 8 hours ago and I am already craving episode 2. T.T I really cannot wait until I find out more about the characters, their back stories and relationships, and to see how Jeha's and Anna's relationship will develop.

I'm impressed by Yoona's acting and I absolutely love the fact that I can see Changwook in a drama again!

Just watched this to day and I definitely get what the hype is about and why this gets so many good reviews.

An action / apocolypse? / zombie / horror movie done excellently. It does not let you relax for a second and keeps you at the edge of your seat. However, zombies and action is not all there is to that; there are times when it lets you smile or even laugh, and there are definitely times you want to cry and / or rage out of frustration.

The only thing, the ending for the characters... I wished it was a little different. :( Also, didn't they leave some of the stuff a little bit too open? Does that mean a part 2 of this?

Dropped this at 20 minutes into episode 8... I can see why people like this; honestly, Park Bogum and Kim Yoojung…
True.. Looking back at my past experience with these kind of situations, I know there's no point to keep waiting 'till I will fall for a drama because it never happens in the end, if it doesn't happen in the first few episodes.. :'D

Dropped this at 20 minutes into episode 8...

I can see why people like this; honestly, Park Bogum and Kim Yoojung are doing a very great job, I quite liked Jinyoung as well, but this drama just bores me. There was only maybe 1.5 episodes of this which I actually enjoyed and there is not a thing in this drama that intrigued me or captured my attention fully. :(

I loved it. Loved the plot, the story, the acting, the suspense, the twists, the comedy!! I continuously got surprised and shocked by all the twists and turns, there was not a single one I actually predicted or saw coming.
My only complaint, which, I would say, is very tiny, is that in the last few episodes, even though the drama was still pretty intense, it kind of lost a little something and for me, personally, I did not find it as exciting as it was in the very beginning.
But hands down, this is one of the best dramas of the year and most probably one of the most unique, most unpredictable dramas ever. 10/10 would recommend!
On So I Married an Anti-Fan Sep 13, 2016
Watch this only if you're looking for something light and fun to watch, not if you're looking for a movie perfectly done, or for a movie that seems like the highest production quality.
It was fun -- and funny, for that matter. But I can totally see how some people could eventually get tired of the main actress' loud screaming or of Chanyeol's constant pouting (but for me, as an EXO fan, I only found it cute). Not to say they were bad though!
I wish Ailin and Gao Xiang had more to bring to the story, their 3 minutes of screentime didn't impress me. I wish they paid more attention to the backstory of Chanyeol and those two people, they could've at least brought some angst to the table, haha.
Also, I found some things to be a little rushed, unreasonable and unbelievable.
However, as I said if you're looking a movie to just simply enjoy and a movie that could bring you some laughs, if you are not looking for any serious stuff, this is probably a very good choice! :)

I'll start by saying this: don't trust the bad comments about how this drama is the worst of the year (etc).
You need to watch this if you are a fan of melodramas, if you like complicated stories. A great thing about this is how beautifully it all was filmed and how good pretty much all of the OSTs are. Not to mention the good chemistry between Suzy and Kim Woobin!
I'd like to also say that Kim Woobin was outstanding in his role. There wasn't a second I doubted him. Speaking of Suzy, I'd lie if I said she was amazing, but she did her job pretty well.
The bad things for me in this: the drama wasn't consistently at the same level, it had ups and downs. Also, for quite a big part of this drama, I disliked the story of the second leads, it didn't interest me in the slightest bit and I only got annoyed at the second leads.
Do give this a try if you think you might like it, but as I said, you most probably do have to like melodramas to enjoy this. And do not forget to have tissues when you're at the ending..
Definitely not as much of a comedy as you'd think it is. I'd recommend for you to watch it alone, since I watched it with a friend and after about 40-50 minutes in the movie (if you've seen it, you know what I am talking about), I kind of slightly lost interest and missed a lot of events ? They failed to catch my attention fully. But otherwise, quite a good and a quality movie, which will be able to make you laugh.

If you're watching this for Xiumin, I'd like to warn you that he is there for only the first half of the movie (or less), but he definitely does do a good job. :')
On Bring It On, Ghost Sep 1, 2016
Honestly, this was just a very fun and easy to watch drama; perfect to watch when you have nothing else to do and enjoy it for all 100%. The cast might give someone doubts, and even though sometimes something does feel a little bit, well, like it could've been done better (Hyunji's drunk scene?), it's not much and you forget it easily.
This drama contains a slight bit of creepiness (if you like that kind of stuff, go on, give this a try, if you don't, don't be afraid because they do not give all of that too much screentime), an interesting story and a cute romance, and it will most definitely make you laugh! I believe they had two of the cutest supporting characters, especially when put together, so if you like a good bromance, I would also recommend this! :)

If this is on your PTW list and you're thinking you might not enjoy it since it is so old.. Please throw these thoughts away. Honestly, this is a very very good quality drama, with a strong plot and a very strong love story, so if romance is something you're into, definitely give this a chance.
One of the (only) weak points this drama has, is its very slow start. The first 2 episodes were so slow, I had thoughts of dropping it. However, in the next few episodes, I was assured that dropping this would be something I'll eventually regret.
Another thing which I cannot count as positive, even though it was mostly only my fault because I did get distracted, is that I was not very interested in every story this drama contained and offered, nor was I able to understand them all, but that, as I said is only my fault. :)
This drama did all the right things a drama like this should have, they did it so well that a person like me, who understands literally nothing of poker or gambling, couldn't take her eyes off the screen when the games were shown. The emotional aspect was also done very very well in this drama.
So please, don't overlook this drama just because it's old. Instead, give it a chance, I don't think you will be disappointed.
On Secret Love Affair Aug 23, 2016
This drama is definitely not for everyone. It is a must-watch if you like classical music (!), mature and very very realistic dramas with no rainbows and unicorns, where everything gets shown clearly as it is and it isn't made to be, let's say, fluffier just so it's easier to watch.
Another thing to note is that this drama is slow-paced all the way through. For me, I found it more relaxing than boring, however after episode 10 it did get slightly draggy.
I also felt like the main focus of the drama was not the romance. It was more about people's relationships and of course, music..
That being said, I would like to mention that figuring out some of the characters was actually quite hard at times, as it was relating to them, at the end I felt like they kind of forgot to give endings to some of the characters.. And I found Kim Heeae's acting a little bit too cringy / fake at times.

For people who want to watch this / have this on their PTW list and dislike very slow dramas, but want to like this: the first 2 episodes show the characters' teen years and the episodes' pace is really quite slow. If that worries you, you can actually skip those 2 episodes, because they are summed up at the beginning of the third one.

I am currently halfway through the drama, and it's just continuosly getting better and better. The main leads' chemistry is enough of a reason to watch this, in my opinion.

oh, well.. maybe this is the wrong drama for you then? :D but nah, romance doesn't play THAT big of a part in this, i feel like? i think the other storylines of this are like, more important and more prominent.

On So Young 2: So You're Still Here Aug 15, 2016
My main problem with this movie was that it seemed so rushed and too short. Things happened too quickly, sometimes so fast I could not understand, what exactly and why. I was also not too fond of the fact that, to see the actual ending, you had to watch an another video. The female lead's actions also seemed unexplained and well, annoying.
But overall this is a very nice romantic comedy. It has romance and angst, the chemistry between the main leads is very good, and I really did enjoy Kris' acting (even though he does have things to improve, he has already gotten so much better and more natural than he was in his first movie)!

Thank you for the great article! The history of the (early-mid) 20th century has always seemed very interesting to me, so I did want to find some good dramas that are set in that time period. I added Cruel Romance to my list and am still thinking whether to add Lady & Liar, Battle of Changsha and Too Late to Say I Love You. :)
