i am so glad, i am not a youtuber or professional critique, i think i would go insane. dramas , fictional stuff is my outlet for the horrors of real like stuff. my escape. I dont need my fantasy safe space to drag me down, by watching stuff, that i hate. .

i am so happy, i have the luxury, to just skip all dramas i dont like, and just pick and talk about the ones that i like.

the bromance in ep 10 is sooooooooooooo burning!

this show is like balm on my soul, for soothing it, from all the hurt of all the BL dramas, that we will never see like ähh whats the name again? winner is king, and the other one. Eternal something.

this show is the first show , that made me buy an entire year of subcription from the youku app!
no other drama this year, so far, got my money that fast :D:D:D

(not even that hyped one with Xiao Zhan, and i really like his pretty face a LOT! ) I dont even like gong jun or any other actors in BR that much (dont dislike him neither, i am just not going crazy about him, or measure him forever by the WoF drama, which is unfair anyway. ), but the entire story and the pace and speed how the story is unfolding?

lol, I am half chinese / half vietnamese by biology, but i was born and raised in germany. Most white germans, that i spend with the last 46 years, are pretty much brutal honest, compared to ther rest of the world.
and the 1979 in my username, is not for fun, but is my real birthyear. I am genX, and we arent dubbed as the "we dont give a flying fuck" generation for no reason, hahah!

the fight scenes are just...out of this world!

honestly WoH its been like what? 4 or 5 years? except for some assassin organisation, and having GJ as a ML, i cant even properly remember what WoH was about in details.

like you said, assassins orgas are like a trope.
the entire story around both dramas are probaly different.

I am watching this without even trying to remember anything from BoY or DY.
just as a standalone, its good enough.
and the pace and speed is just awesome!
there isnt like a single minute where i am bored, or feel like i need to fast forward, which is like yeah, i am near 47 , trust me i have seen them all, and i am easily bored like hell.

i used to like watching avenux, a couple of years ago, but well, the last 2 or 3 years, she is .. well negative about most shows, so i feel more pity with her, if she is simply going on and on and on, maybe because of the money her channel is providing? (which is actually a total valid reason to do stuff, or watch stuff that you hate! money is money, and its tough times. )

but honestly, if she isnt relying on the revenue from her channel? i actually would tell her to simply stop doing reviews, and just IDK, posting 2 to 3 dramas per year, of the dramas that she likes.
why bother to do stuff as a hobby , if its just upsets you?
i mean i guess, she sees herself as a professinal critic?
so she goes on and on?

for me, as a comparison, its like reading fanfic. i am only leaving feedback to fanfics, that i like. if something is in my subjective opinion bad? i just move on, there are billions of fics for me to choose. why stick to something that aggrevates myself?

i mean, like 99% of all fantasy cdramas nowadays, the FLs and MLs have like, poreless skin of heavenly immortals! (which is great, coz its all fantasy anyway, and i dont want to see ugly normal average people with acne or bad skin on screen, thats not what i pay for, i pay for illusion and impossible scenarios and even more impossible lives and love stories)

this is like the first few moments i saw gong jun's real skin, i thought, damn, did they forget to filter? but then i realized even the SML , has more poreless skin then GJ...or the miracle doctor!

thank god, i actually love this drama for the fights scenes ! everything is secondary!
but the costumes are also pretty , and the story is actually very engaging! i am dying at every cliffhanger ending of each new ep!

and since i forgot all the storylines about this assassin group , from the previous dramas BoY and DY, i am being kept on the edge!
i had high hopes for The Immortal Ascension , and legend of Zhang Hai, but while both were okay, they didnt capture me like Blood River!

you know, dont force yourself, even if you liked him in some other show in the past!

i mean this month, will be a feast!
there are at least two other big dramas starting this weekend!
whispers of fate and the other one, forgot the name, but there IS PLENTIFUL THIS MONTH , ITS GOURGEOS!

same here, i usually got no knowledge of anything but the dramas coz i am not interested in the novels and animes or anything.

the fights are out of this world, and there are like ten times more of these beautiful fights than in blood of youth or dashing youth!

i think, this is the first drama, where i actually dont care much, who is playing what, i simpyl rewatched all the eps because of the fight scenes!
