EP1 thoughts -

Unpopular opinion, but I think they should stick to the regular 45-60mins runtime per episode for this drama. I was actually debating if I should continue or drop this drama because of how draggy 2/3 of this episode was, how little investment or care I had for the main characters, but 45 minutes into episode 1, the story finally picked up pace and got interesting for me. I'm still not sold on the chemistry of the main characters, but I hope they grow on me.

The key to this first episode is patience, because that was a pretty great last 1/3 of the drama, and now I am curious to see where the story goes from here.

There are too many Legend of Condor remakes, I can't keep up lol. But I'm watching Bloody Romance at the moment and I'm so relieved her acting isn't bad. It makes me more excited for A Dream Within a Dream. 😊

Wait, I was actually about to dismiss this drama because they didn't edit out the blue screen in the beginning of episode 1 lol, but I decided to stick with it and omg that was an amazing introduction to this story. You were right, it is dark. I didn't read the synopsis so I didn't expect her dad to sell her. I love that she is a fighter and she refuses to just give up and submit to the circumstances she is forced into. I'm invested in her survival now and I can't wait to see where her journey takes her.
